I can sit and stare at a fire for hours. I miss my fireplace. We built a new house, and a we deemed it too expensive for what is essentially a frivolous luxury. We did, however, build the chase(framework) for a fireplace in the future. For now, it's been behind a finished sheetrock wall with my TV placed on it just above where the mantle would be.
