Made the mistake of opening an Upsave first now I can’t open a Gsave. Quite frustrating since Upsave does not have BPI as one of the banks you can transfer from. Thinking of moving to ING or Komo instead.

Problem is anyone can promise to pay high interest for deposits. Be careful. If you need to contact your virtual bank because of some problem, who can you contact? To be financially secure, diversify your investments. One rule which is nearly always true is that if it sounds too good be true, it probably is. You put money in the bank to keep it safe and available and not to make it grow faster. The latter is not your main objective in choosing the bank.
