​@@miamoore9349that is how i make it. Cut it then Boil the beetroot. Let it cool and then grind it, strain it with cloth or something. Add lemon and salt

Thank you very much 🙏 Doctors should take care of us in the same way you do for any possible health problems. Instead they make us run from one office specialist to another . We spent time and money, and most of all they scare us to death…..😱😱😱 To much stress is what make us sick😡😡😡

I just love her. She explains anemia in a non-scary way. I was just diagnosed with anemia through my blood tests and was a bit scared when they threw medical terms at me that I did not know what they were. This helps a lot. Thanks, Dr. Yogendra. 8.25.23

I feel so loved and safe as you speak wisdom to us all. Each time i see your face, I think Nona. That is Italian grandmother. Like Nana, Grammy etc. I immediately am drawn to a memory of my Nana (Irish) holding my hand taking me for a walk to feed the ducks at a nearby pond. She would watch me while my parents were working. This was in the late 70`s. Also another memory of a blanket my Nona (Italian) made me as my mother carried me during pregnancy. I still have this blanket. 49 years later. And to my wife`s dismay, still sleep with it. She is dealing with low iron absorption. Namaste Nona

@@oreo8511 Yes, I think so. But I am still taking the iron supplements. I am vegan and I usually have severe anemia. I will keep adding in the different food items though and when I get my next blood test I am hoping to see a big improvement. :-)

I was late to see ur video . Ma'am m pregnent I had hemoglobin 9. I took 5 alternative day drip but only my hemoglobin increased as 10 only. But I had 1 week continuely empty stomach loop warm water with honey and lemon actually for cough and I had most of the day I had pink dragon fruit. Thank god yesterday I had 12.2 hemoglobin.

I got a call from my Dr. to go the ER right now! My iron was so scary low, 5.1 that's why I've been feeling so bad. After 2 bags of transfusion blood, I felt a little better. But now I watched u and fill so much better. The beet juice, spinach, honey, banana, yogurt, o.j. pomegranate juice and date's really worked. I added cucumber and beet powder. I'm going to steam some carrots and freeze them to add to the drink It's weird, all I wanted was crushed ice, I didn't realize that was a symptom of low iron. TY, u really saved me! @@shine3493 please get referred to see a hematology doctor. They will help you figure out the root cause and arrange iron infusion for you via IV. In the meantime eat iron rich foods. Cut out processed foods and sugars. And get a strong iron supplement prescribed from your doctor immediately. I am fighting anemia now and iron pills and diet saved my life. I am waiting for an iron infusion

Thank you writing this from Seattle WA. I recently had my blood test done, due to shortness of breath, chest pain. I was send ER twice, EKG test nothing wrong, cardiologist nothing wrong, then was send to pulmonary specialist gave steroid inhaler for 3months didn't help. Finally one of the nurse told me I should get blood test, found out it was my blood count was low. Now my GP want me to go to hemotologist, still waiting for the appointment. Thank you so much for this video I will be incorporating in my diet. Instead of sending to all these expensive specialist they could have done a simple blood test.

Omg that's awful. Blood test should have been the first thing they did. Happened to me and on my second emergency visit they took blood and found my hb low. Been taking iron pills (Feramax 150) twice a day, while I wait to get an iron infusion. I wish there wasn't a wait period, but hopefully I get in soon. It's the worst feeling like you're 95 years old everyday. Trying to stay positive and pray everyday. How are you since and have you had any good treatment or improvements?

@TheNature-ii9le yes my hemoglobin is normal now and my ferritin is 82 and I finally have a handle on my iron. I'm still supplementing every day with a lower dosage to keep it up. I found out I have celiac and that was my issue. Almost a year gluten free now and I'm finally absorbing my food and supplements

My ferritin is now below 5 and I have severe iron deficiency to the point my hair has fallen a lot. I hope this helps, I will certainly try!

Yes ,there is shortness of breath due to anemia because Red blood cells are the one which carry oxygen to the lungs and to the whole body. So when there's anemia(lack of red blood cells) then there will be shortness of breath

Dr hi makes so much sense to me 🙏 Most of the women are anemic either due to heavy menstrual period or losing iron during pregnancy. I’m anemic too and after listening to this video, I went to grocery shopping and bought most of the stuff recommended. Will let you all know the results after a month of consuming accordingly. I would appreciate you letting us know the outcome. I'm anemic doctors want me to do a blood infusion I really don't want to. I'm trying to hold off that procedure until I can find something that works naturally. I also have a heavy menstrual. I'm thinking if I get a hysterectomy, will that work or if it's a good option.

​@@Crystal-qg4rdI don't know the gravity of your situation so no advise, just sharing what I have seen with one of my friends who had too much blood loss during her delivery and the doctors suggested blood transfusion but her mother took the hard decision and denied any transfusion. She treated the blood loss with her home remedies (spinach, beetroot, dates, etc) and after 1 month the doctors were very surprised and happy to see that she recovered fully.

Why to pressure cook the beetroot instead of having it raw ? Would it not diminish it's nutritional content / values ? Thanks in advance if anyone can help me out on this detail.

Hey I’m currently looking into increasing my iron intake as it’s low and from what I have read so far it seems cooking foods makes the iron more bio available so cooking is better
