AQ has a wand with 1 more spelldmg, Wand of Qiraji Nobility. Also Leggings of the Festering Swarm is a great alternative to the Black Lizzard legs, they have 57 firedmg

Those are two great additions thank u for that. I don’t know how I forgot about the wand I put it in my warlock bis vid but it slipped my mind. I didn’t think about the pants those are also great pants!

I think the Bracers of Arcane Accuracy (21sp / 1hit) would be a good alternative to Rockfury if you are unable to have the rep on launch and get lucky enough in BWL.

That is very true those bracers are nearly as good overall but there’s plenty of time to get that rep up and make gold off the twilights in meantime. But ur 100% correct for sure!

Horde control silithus in my server. So for the mean time im just trying to farm gold and prepare for phase 5, bracers of arcane accuracy seem to drop almost every week so I don't see too much value in the rockfury, eventually get it

i think the PVP Rank 10 shoulders and boots together are slightly better or at least equal , you gain a total of 53 Spellpower but also 1%crit and 1%hit, compared to 62 Spellpower and 1%hit.

What do you weigh crit at that makes robes of volatile power better then robe of the archmage or the enigma robes? Also the rank 10 shoulders and the rank 7 boots are a better combo then mantle and enigma boots.

I was using stat weight of more like 20sp being fire spec but I could be off now talking to some others. I need to look closer at the rank 10 shoulders though I was thinking more raid obtainable items though I guess I didn’t specify that and I believe u are right that combo being a little better if they got the rank 10.

@@fastanddanger I don't agree on that. The main reason you shouldn't go with enigma robes is because that would be another item to get from cthun, and the upgrade(if any) would be minimal. The thing is, robe of volatile power will help the mages keep ignite running better, and as you're starting out fire, stacking crit with everything you've got is important as shit because of that. So yes, Robe of volatile power is BiS for both mages and paladins into naxx.

Warlock one coming out Friday I got to double check a few things before it goes live. I have started the spriest one but I can certainly work on it early next week.

What do u think about Blessed Qiraji Acolyte Staff for mages as well as for warlocks

I think that staff is excellent choice for both also. It’s a little less crit and sp but u get the extra 1% hit which warlocks won’t mind. That would be a strong second choice over the mage blade And Av off hand combo

It's sure as shit amazing for locks, because of the higher value hit has to them. For mages it's still a very strong option.

I‘m looking for a spreadsheet that can tell me for my gear how much crit or hit value converted into spelldmg!? So 1% crit ~ 12spelldmg or so..with dkp system and bad luck in raids, i need to figure out how much crit and mana i need to make fire work for me...i guess round about 20% crit with talents

Let me ask around see if I can’t find you a good spreadsheet. For planning gear and whatnot check out defcamp and meldron video he had a program that makes mapping gear out so easy. I haven’t fully played with it but I believe it gives u the stat weights ur looking for

the only alternative to Mishundare is t2.5 hat, which is slightly worse, but pretty damn good. :P

Same with t2.5 shoulders, which are also very good. With bloodvine, i reccomend running double crit rings to drop some hit there.

the 4 items that are full bis for p6 in this set are dark storm gauntlets, eyestalk waistcord, and both of those trinkets. Tear is still one of the best trinkets in the game, at the end of the game. Mind quickening gem will allways be bis for burst fights like faerlina, noth, thaddius(be mindful of threat on this one), shit like that. The crit rings will both come from naxx.

The offhand off twin emps is also 2nd bis in p6, so it's hella good. worth picking up, so you don't have to worry about it, and you can go straight for wraithblade in naxx.

Sorry for sperging like this, but I've done all of this on private, as a mage main. I got most of these items, and i made the mistakes in picking the wrong items to focus. Took me hella time to catch back up.

Mind quickening gem is actually worse than toep and Zandalar , since the extra spellpower makes the ignite procs bigger, which should be extra damage throughout the entire fight

Still wrong, mqg is still better than spell dmg trinkets. Use calculators to compare ur dps, more fireballs overpowers slightly higher ignites

So do u lget hit cap in AQ? or do u go more for crit then be hitcapped?

Yes u can hit 16% hit cap in aq. Some argue u could sac some hit down to 12-14 if it means a ton more crit and damage though I need to run some more testing

Alright cool, cuz i read alot that Crit is so super important, so i wondered if i should 100% of the time focus on being hitcapped or that i could use items with crit or SP over an item with hit but less crit and sp and int etc etc.

Most of all mages will only go fire as ignite is excellent damage It requires more spell crit but that damage is the highest from my understanding

Either full fire raid specc. Or as alternative you can go fire/frost hybrid. Something like 2/33/16. So you still have the few important frost talents for mc/bwl frostbolt usage.
