Who doesn’t love its big, bold, sweeping shape? While giving the nod back to another era, the Suhr Classic JM starts with a sleeker, more refined body shape and adds enhancements to playability previously unattainable to the guitarist interested in a truly vibe-y guitar.
The Classic JM Pro offers options for a Gotoh 510 Tremolo that sounds great, and stays in tune with excellent intonation. Or, if you prefer, you can have a recessed TonePros tune-o-matic bridge with strings that pass through the body for super resonant performance. We also offer your choice of either two huge sounding but hum free S90 pickups or two Suhr SSV humbucking pickups with a low profile three way pickup selector.

Lovely guitar but 'Jazz Master style' probably the best description - essentially in shape only n'est-ce pas? They have dispensed with the slightly odd tremolo and bridge system on classic Jazz Masters - I prefer this Strat style rig so a plus for me. And P90s? This throws it into a slightly different league, which may or may not appeal to purists but fine by me. Satin neck, Rosewood board - great! Uni-Sound carry the Suhr line here in HK so will see if they have this model, quite keen to give a test run! 👍

Hmm, a Jazzmaster who’s pickups don’t just look like P90s, but actually ARE P90s (well, S90s). A couple of firsts; I don’t think I’ve seen you play a Jazzmaster before (although I’m sure there’s a video), and I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone play slide on one, either. Just a side note; I don’t think I’ve ever seen you play an SG either. Regardless, whatever you play sounds incredible!

I like it except for: no JM pickups, not JM tremolo, neck too thin, finish glossy poly, stainless steel frets (not a fan), too expensive considering. For that kind of money I would expect a better finish minimum, if Suhr is going to use poly at least make it satin on the neck.

What do you mean by better finish? And the neck is satin finish. I own one
