Cool! This is basically a full Windsor knot but starting off with the backside of the necktie. I could tie 9 different knots now, so proud of myself!

Hi Antonio, this knot is out of this world... i dont use ties due to the nature of my job although that doesnt stop me using ties in other events or different meetings so this is definitely the best one out there, thanks!

Although not a military knot (Half Windsor), this was the one I used in boot camp with a slight variation. The drill instructors were so impressed that I had to retie all of the messed up ties for my platoon before our final drill.

which knot would u recommend for college students I am not a huge looking man just a teen guy

I would recommend the Four In Hand, Half Windsor, Full Windsor and Bow Tie. www.realmenrealstyle.com/classic-tie-knots/

With so many turns what length tie will this knot require? I'm 6'2" with 17.5" neck and a long torso, and (like another commenter) I wind up having a only a 4" to 6" thin piece behind the front of the tie whenever I tie a large knot like a full Windsor.
@csxfloridafunnelrailfan30655 жыл бұрын
You have a few options. First one being tie smaller knots like a half Windsor. Or If you like the look of a tie bar, then you can use that to hold the tie together and in place if the skinny end doesn't reach the keeper loop. Just follow the rules of tie bars ( shouldn't be wider than the tie at the proper placement between the 3rd and 4th button, clipped to the dress shirt and tie) If you are set on bigger knots, try an extra long tie. 61 to 63 inches is a good lenth for a taller man

Hey Antonio, I'm not sure if my face is Round or Oval. I think it's round, but I'm not sure because people tell me it's Oval. However, I have just a super tiny bit of fat under my face which could possibly make my face look a bit longer and Oval. Anyway, what hairstyle most suits round faces? Thanks Antonio!!

Real Men Real Style Hey, thanks Antonio. However, the only problem with that article is that it doesn't tell which hairstyle goes with which face shapes. Is there any other articles that do? If not, what hairstyles look great on Round Faces? Thanks Antonio and sorry for messaging you this late at night.

What would be a knot for smaller men?
@gammondog7 жыл бұрын
Four-in-Hand knot, which I used back in my school days. My father used that knot all of his life and it got him through the military and many a wedding or funeral. The next one that comes to mind is the Half Windsor.
@RealMenRealStyle7 жыл бұрын
Exactly! The Four In Hand knot works for smaller men. Check this out - www.themodestman.com/short-men-style-101-the-necktie/

I am 6'3 and have an 18inch neck. I have found I must tie only knots with minimal loops. if I tie a full Windsor or large knot, the small end comes about 6 inches from my neck and I must tuck it into my shirt. The Nicky knot Is my bread and butter. I know I need longer ties but the selection of tall ties is so poor.
@Kolya_Smirnov7 жыл бұрын
I know what you mean. If I tied this knot, the wide end wouldn't even make it past my chest! Thanks for the tip on the Nicky knot.

Ok so the steps are going too fast. It would help to slow down and also the angle from the top of the neck confuses me. Best to keep it directly facing the front of the body instead of switching camera view from the top.

Since the knot is rather bulky, you’ll want a nice, flatter tie that doesn’t have much extra length.
