Haru haru sunscreen leaves a white cast on my skin which I can get past it but it leaves a powdery finish. When I initially apply it, it feels hydrating and very nice but then after a while I find my skin dry with powdery finish which I really don't like.

I would love a complete anti-aging regimen comprising only Korean/Japanese products. I'm already using Hado Labo Oil Cleanser and some Rovectin products, as well as Isntree and Skin 1004 sun screens, and I absolutely adore them! I'd like to include as many of the best ingredients to fight the signs of aging (such as retinol, urea, centella, or whatever are the best or most effective), but I find it kind of overwhelming.

Dr. Dray I recently try a Korean sunscreen that is amazing. Innisfree tone up matte sunscreen. It is mineral and can leave a white cast but when applied well, it is just life changing. I am so sensitive I could not even tolerate Beauty of joseon or other chemicals sunscreens . This product makes the Pores disappear, the skin looks slightly lighter but not unnatural , it is flattering and although it does not have any coverage it has some kind of correcting effect. I almost do not need much makeup with this , I cannot explain how. It makes you look beautiful and flawless. The best part is that is matte but not powdery, you should give it a try. Hugs from a fellow MD ( neurologist) who follows you closely .

There's not a product I use anymore that is not recommended by you from double cleansing using Abolene to Eucerin advanced therapy, Amlactin to Drmtlgy tinted sunscreen (best ever until I tried Skinceuticals tinted you recommended.) I no longer feel like I waste money with gimmick products and every single item you suggest is fantastic. I no longer feel overwhelmed but look forward to skincare. You take care of the exterior and Dr. Greger takes of the interior. Your input based on evidence based research is invaluable. Thank you for what you do! Happy New Year!

How do we know if we don’t tolerate niacinamide? I get bumps all over my face when I start using products I’m not sure if it’s just from starting new products or something else. I’m going to stick with a routine and see if they go away. But i normally just don’t do anything to my face except put castor oil on it at night. But now I’m turning 30 and need some preventative skin care
@charlesd.11024 ай бұрын
Just look at the ingredient list of the products that didn't go well with your skin and see what are the common substances, then check the products that you really like and see which of those substances are in there or not. Through exclusion you will get to the things that is irritating to u, and it's usually the actives. I learned about my Niacinamide allergy in the early years of the Niacinamide trend so for me it was easy to know - i tested a handful of new products with Niacinamide being the main active from different brands and ALL of them inflammed my skin and flared my acne. Since then it became a habit of mine to look at the formula of every skin care product too see if there's niacinamide on it.

Thanks to you, I've been hooked on Korean skincare and my skin (and wallet!) couldn't be happier! I HIGHLY recommend the Numbuzin 3 Super Glow toner with over 50 fermented ingredients. I will try the yam root cleanser next when I used up my soonjung whip cleanser. I mainly use this cleanser, the cosrx rice overnight mask and Weleda calming face cream, but not every night. Sometimes snail mucin. PC BHA twice a week and the medik8 weekest retinal for my eye area. Sunscreen everyday. I can keep my Rosacea type 2 totally at bay without any treatment cream. I do an IPL from time to time to battle the flushing.
