I've always wanted to try the Kinky Curly but it's so pricey...my faves are the curls blueberry bliss and mop top bamboo essence leave in, recently I've been trying the alikay naturals lemongrass leave-in which is pretty nice also!

Althought the giveawa passed, I wanted to mention the Salerm 21 Leave-in Conditioner Silk Protein, I use with or with out mousse and it leaves my hair shiny and soft! I can only purchase it on Amazon, not sure if they sell in stores in other states. I am also enjoying the Lus Brands Shampoo, conditioner and leave in. In the past I've used the OGX moroccan curling perfection and its amazing too!

Cantu and Shea moisture Jbco leave in are definitely almost the same. I used Cantu for years and it helped me finally fall in love with my curls, but everyone told me it was bad for my hair so I switched to JBCO. I have a lot of hair thinning in my scalp that I was starting to think might be because of Cantu which is part of why I made the switch, but after using the shea moisture for almost half a year I see no changes. It works amazing, but it definitely is no dramatic change from Cantu when it comes to how my curls look and feel. The shea moisture however is more expensive and reaks whenever I use it to help cornrow my hair at home even when I only leave the braids in for up to two days which is a problem I never had with Cantu, probably because Cantu has more preservatives. I guess to sum up my experience, Cantu doesn’t really dry up your hair like everyone says so if that’s what you can afford get it. Just maybe make an extra effort not to apply it to your roots.

Yes!! 😍 Kinky Curl is my absolute fave! I found out that it dries my hair quicker than others. Have you noticed that? I always notice the crown of my head is super dry and frizzy even though I feel I distribute the product all over during wash day. I should try the Camille Rose Naturals and Rizos Curls Refresh one. Is your hair fine, coarse or somewhere in between? My hair is also 2c/3a (and 3b) but fairly coarse. I had success with Kinky Curly Knot Today, the first one she mentions. Also, their curling custard is also fantastic (just don't use TOO much.) Hope that helps!

Hey Emir! Absolutely! My brother actually uses the SheaMoisture Jamaican Black Castor Oil Leave In Conditioner and his curls are a bit looser than mine. This one though, does have a bit of a stronger fragrance. One that has a comparable consistency would be the Mielle Organics White Peony Leave In, with a much more pleasant smell. Hope this helps!
