Best motorcycle chase in a movie ever?! VW Golf vs Yamaha XT500. Amsterdamned, 1988.

Amsterdamned is a Dutch thriller from 1988, Directed by Dick Maas.
This is an insanely cool chase scene featuring some old Dutch VW Golf cop cars and the iconic Yamaha XT500.
Growing up in Amsterdam I actually witnessed a scene of this movie being shot walking home from school in the city center. I was 8 years old at that time and Amsterdam was still a lot ‘rougher around the edges’ as you can clearly see in the clip.
Even though the movie now probably feels dated and not as scary as when I first saw it, I still highly recommend watching it. If only for the XT500 chase scene. Not sure what happened to the bike but being an XT500 it’s probably still on the road somewhere.
