Hi Tim, Stupid question? Can you add music to an SD card once it's in your computer? Or do you have to have a Adobe Premier?

You can download songs from the ArtList site and then you are free to do whatever you like with them so you can save them on an sd if you want.

I’ve been using Epidemic music. Similar price, but I’ve had a hard time finding tracks that are what I’m looking for sometimes. I’m going to check this site out! Thank you!

I've looked into Epidemic and even did the trial. I do like that you can get stem files from them but I still feel like the audio quality is more authentic from ArtList

Is ArtList.io easy to use with an iPad or is it mainly for PC use? I create all my videos and do all of my editing on my iPad... where would the downloaded tracks from ArtList.io go?

Works great! They send you an email with the links to download. You can just download and save via the files app 👍

I wish there was an option to buy single tracks with a licence to use. I maybe need 5-10 tracks a year (!) So the subscription option is overkill for me. This is the smootest service i´ve seen in a long time. Thumbs up for that

Hi Timothy, We usually go to premiumbeat.com and pay "piece by piece", which is not that cheap as ArtList.io. We will definitly have a look at this library, many thanks for your excellent videos !

Happy to help! I've used premiumbeat as well but it really adds up. Since signing up for ArtList.io, I haven't had a time where I missed premiumbeat

I checked it out. Lots of useful music - especially enjoyed the 'mood' search category. We own a bunch of FreshMusic CD's which you can get on special sale days for as little as $10/cd (regular $89/cd). But I like the seemingly unlimited scope available on ArtList.io. Fresh does offer 30/60/full length versions of their cuts on some CD's which can be pretty useful. It would be nice to see 'length' [min,max] added to the search criteria on ArtList.io. Fading music out isn't professional. Cuts should have endings, and it takes time to blend an ending to create custom lengths. So if you can find something close to the length you need, you can just stretch or shrink it a little to fit. Thanks for this info. If you use lots of cuts each year $199 is a pretty good price. You can pay less on a per song or CD basis though if you don't need many cuts per year.

Great feedback! You can actually sort by track length and it is SUPER helpful.

I see that now. That's great! You can use the sliders to set the min and max.

Thats cool but Most of us only do one maybe two videos a week and $200 a year breaks down to $4 per video and if your not getting anything from Y-T well you get it . For most of us it's a hobby , not a business .
@TimothySunday
@TimothySunday 6 жыл бұрын
I get that. But hey, I do 2 videos a week. To me, it's totally worth it because otherwise, you are spending WAY more than $4 a track for rights to a decent song. Just curious, where do you get your tracks from?

I could not agree more about your thoughts on the importance of music in film making together with editing to the music’s structure too.One other aspect that has a transformative effect on most video, including drone footage is sound effects,they can be even cheaper too. Try adding some subtle distant seabird sounds too to your sample film, plus maybe the odd subliminal woosh sound as the camera moves,pans or during a transition...sound effects can make it seem like you are really there. Many thanks for taking time to do all your tips!
