I fully agree with your "thanks" to all those who are contributing to the expansion of wild areas - not only in Patagonia, but everywhere.

They are heroes! Absolutely legends that value the importance of nature and ecosystems. I think many people get more and more distance from it and forget how important it is for them and the rest of the living creatures on this planet!

The wind and ambient sound! It reminds me of my time in Alaska and the Great White North as well as many desert journeys. Most folks find it annoying,I find it cathartic. It took me a minute to get geared up but, once situated, it is most peaceful.

It's absolutely an incredible place to be and sometimes it starts to be even overwhelming because of the level of beauty. The wind reminds you how harsh this place is and keeps this place wild in a way!

Hello, the impressively designed (and in parts privately sponsored) Perito Morenopark reminds me of a similar project in Brazil. There, the highly socially engaged photographer Sebastião Ribeiro Salgado bought land in the rainforest to preserve it as a biotope from destruction by international profiteers. Successfully! It is truly touching to see the generosity and amazing quality with which the huts are freely available during your hiking! Your gratitude and care with which you make use of this great offer come across very well in the video! Gute Fahrt - wo auch immer!! 😉 Roger-T.

It gives me so much hope when I see projects like this. There is always amazing people around that want to preserve wild spaces, in a world where still many people think that taking and exploiting land its a normal thing to do as humans. We are extremely grateful that we are able to see some of these incredible places!

Very nice. Argentina is one of my fav places. I must have missed the problems with the struts for you roof. Great handy work fixing it. Improvising on the road. Who makes the roof structure? Ex-tec?
@Thebluelandy
@Thebluelandy 9 ай бұрын
Hey! Yeah, in one of the previous videos we did show how noisy the struts were, because they were broken! We use it every single day and with a lot of weight on the roof. We are really happy with it but it would be better without the surfboards on top. The poptop is from XVisionX.

A pity that they did not cross the river and go to the "Ice Lagoon" where the wind brings the enormous pieces of ice from the San Lorenzo Glacier closer to the coast. Obviously, you have to cross the frozen river with appropriate footwear, sandals or barefoot. On the other hand, the park's shelters and trails were built by the Fundación Banco de Bosques and the Butler Conservation Fund. As you may have noticed, it is not easy to get to that park and adequate logistics are needed because there is no possibility of buying anything inside it, especially carrying enough fuel.
@Thebluelandy
@Thebluelandy 7 ай бұрын
Hey! Yes, we didn't get to the lagoon. It meant another 10km to the already hike over 20 km both ways. We would have been able to push, but the weather turned bad, snow and hail when we were up. So it was good to turn around and go down. 🤗At the time we were there it was most probably frozen and full with snow ❄️ yes one needs to go prepare of course, with fuel and food. But we always try to stock on food an water when in town, doesn't matter where we go as we know it can get remote pretty quickly. 👍
