That ending hit me different. It made me realize why Carson has stood out so much in this landscape than anyone else; he’s like any one of us. He’s like all of us. He’s watched everyone before him hit huge sub counts, playing whatever games, dreaming of being like them like all of us have. He has a familiar tone in each video that anyone can easily get in on and laugh with. It doesn’t feel like any one video is the best or better than any other. There isn’t any one video or reason he is popular besides the fact that he makes such good content. Each video you can see the heart in, each video is just as good as the others. Not to say other creators don’t have that, but their videos tend to differ between what their audience will really watch or not. Carson has avoided that, and created such a great community that seem to feel the same as him, because he’s just like us. He was just a kid (guy now) with a dream, and now we all get to be a part of it. It’s why this is my favorite shit. I feel at home with everyone in this fan base, even though I’m not extreme like most, because I feel like I’m watching a friend, not a celebrity. Not as much in a literal sense, but more in a “hey, i catch this guy’s jive” because of the direct honesty. Just really felt like saying this. Thank you Carson, though probably not reading this, for giving all of us a weird little comet to giggle together in. Balls
