8:42 wow… This monologue may have made me laugh when i first saw it, but I just realized how unironically serious and film-like it is. The actor’s performance is incredible, and the cinematography is great, with the camera slowly tilting and moving closer to Holt as the background becomes more blurred. I think a film director may have directed this episode and/or scene, it’s unusually sophisticated for a TV sitcom.
