The cammer would've done the same if it wasn't for the fact that the white truck was in front of him, hell he almost did the same thing when the second kid just went without confirming it was safe to pass. You should not have a crosswalk in the middle of blocks without lights. It is a recipe for accidents like this to happen. Instead, they should put a pedestrian traffic light that is either off or always green until activated by someone. Then it turns to yellow, then red. Once a timer runs out, it goes to a flashing red for a few seconds, which means it could be treated as a stop sign. Then back to green or off. We have these in my city and it seems to be helping a little bit.

Often translates to that, but not exclusively though. I've had complete fuckwits cut ahead. In the one clip I've seen so far with "I had to brake" on the screen, IMO it definitely doesn't look like they were being safe at all - merging in quickly, no turn signal, etc.

@@DanknDerpyGamer Driving defensively MEANS you expect the other car to do something unsafe/illegal, and you plan ahead so you can escape the danger. Thinking in terms of "The other driver is stupid" is dangerous. The other driver is almost always more often drunk/high/asleep/medically incapacitated/distracted/fleeing. But his emotional/mental state is not important to your survival in the next several seconds. The only thing that matters, right now, is your distance from that 1-2 ton high speed projectile. More distance = safer. Less distance = less safe. And that's universally true regardless of the mental state or intent of the person operating that high speed projectile.

Can't recall a time I've ever been told no. So, while it's ok to slow down & "let someone in", it's also gonna be ok if you show some decency & respect for other drivers on the road. 14:56 that's not the fast lane, it's the passing lane. If you're getting passed on the right REGARDLESS of the speed limit or your speed, you need to move over. It's not your job to enforce the law, you're job is to follow it. BMW was a douche, no question, but the cammer in this case was also at fault.

'Your job is to follow it' - same applies to the speeding idiots who should never come up at your ass if you're doing the speed limit as that would mean that they are overspeeding. However I agree that you should move to the right if there is space no matter what. I mean, why not?
@fetchstixRHD3 жыл бұрын
@@radiocontrolled9181: True that the same applies to driving over the speed limit, but they're the ones getting tickets so the point doesn't really need to be made. Considering how many of these include people in the passing lane, it does need to be made for taking them up. After all, if you keep to the right (or left), they can speed on and get themselves a bigger ticket, more likely that they'll get caught! Even with that said, I take issue with speed limits, but another discussion there...

@@Earthneedsado-over177 I assume you’re implying that the cammer was right because the bmw got the ticket?
