From a very early age, Mendelssohn has been one of my favorite composers. I have sometimes joked that I would have married this man had I had the privilege of knowing him😊.

It's a shame this album has a mistake with the last piece being not by Mendelssohn. It's the absolutely amazing Cherubic Hymn Op. 27 №5 by Russian composer Pavel Chesnokov.
