In bo3, I've been much more impressed by the version of this that wins with Founding the Third Path. Before the win it fills your yard and it takes up less slots in the board so you can pack more answers/hate. Also, unless I'm missing something, he's still alive on board in game 5 (18:35) when he scoops? Heartfire will deal 11 (14 trample - 3 from picklock) and manifold will deal 1, but he's at 13. Lastly, Unnerving Grasp is unnecessary. The line is: - awakening to reanimate omniscience - invasion to get season - season to make a token omniscience and bounce invasion - invasion for season - season to draw two cards and bounce invasion - loop season and invasion until you find a second invasion - second invasion to get timely - loop the two invasions, season, and timely to get an infinite number of infinitely large, hasty tokens - win
@stryed1111Күн бұрын
Unnerving Grasp is the only card that allows you to both bounce Arcavios and create a creature. Season of Weaving doesn't create a creature unless you already have on, and Timely Reinforcements doesn't bounce Arcavios. If you have 2 Arcavios, then yes, you can loop Timely and Season of Weaving.
@bensteinhauser784Күн бұрын
@stryed1111 Ah, I explained it poorly in my original post. The loop I was think of is as follows: - cast the Timely Reinforcements - cast Season of Weaving to copy the token and bounce all nonland tokens - cast invasion to get back season - repeat the season/invasion loop until you have enough tokens - cast invasion one last time and get timely - cast timely to give them all haste
@stryed1111Күн бұрын
@@bensteinhauser784 The problem is you currently need 1 arcavios to get timely, then another to get season. You could do it if you main deck one of those, but that would just make the combo worse.
@bensteinhauser784Күн бұрын
@@stryed1111 Ah shit, you're right, damn. Ty for pointing that out!
@bensteinhauser78415 сағат бұрын
@@stryed1111 Wait, I just realized season of Weaving can draw cards. So you can loop season and invasion until you find a second invasion and then loop timely and season with the two invasions. So you don't need grasp.
@deutscher1aКүн бұрын
if youre ever in the combo, loop with heroic intervention and season... Way faster lethal on board since its 2 tokens + pump fo reach loop You also cant mill out
@deutscher1aКүн бұрын
but i saw better loops with a "rreturn 2 perm to owners hand" using 2 invasions to get the intervention + return back from graveyard
@KoshoShinogi14 сағат бұрын
Either of these require 2 Invasions. You only need 1 Invasion to Season once, Unnerving Grasp once, then just loop Invasion and Season to make copies of the manifest dread until you have enough for lethal then finally Heroic.
@deutscher1a13 сағат бұрын
@ if your first invasion lets you tutor(beseech the mirror) you get the 2nd invasion - this town aint big enough - then you return both, get ttabe + heroic intervention Now you loop without milling out and have 2 invasions guaranteed
@KoshoShinogi13 сағат бұрын
@@deutscher1a Sure, when you have infinite mana and infinite tutors, you can do whatever you want. But adding a 2nd Invasion to the equation means extra steps in each loop. And extra steps means more time. The only cards needed for the loop (once a manifest dread creature is made) are 1 Invasion and 1 Season. Not the sexiest sequence, but when you take longer to combo, the rope will eventually come out and your opponents are more likely to scoop out of boredom. Best to be as quick as possible.
@deutscher1a9 сағат бұрын
@ thats what omniscience is for And seasons wont work for inf since dread creatures geet back to hand and no token copy Using what i said is also faster
@tomthemime4318Күн бұрын
18:09 If only you had a card in your mana base that could destroy that pesky 1 mana creature that cost exactly the amount of mana you had. Probably wouldn't have changed the outcome but still.

Crim, FYI: Opponent at 20 life. Face down creature is 3/3 with Heroic Reinforcements. Two tokens from Heroic Reinforcements are 2/2 each. 20 - 4 = 16 power needed from face down creatures. 16/3 = 5.333, so 6 face down creatures needed. If your opponent is at 19 you can do it with 5. One additional face down creature required for each one you think won't get through - due to blockers, removal, etc.

@PravinozКүн бұрын
Better sideboard win con is This Town, Demonic Counsel, Boltwave. You find counsel with arcavios, find second arcavios with counsel, find this town, loop arcavios and boltwave. Non targeting burn, no need to manifest or use the combat step. Early japanese foundations brews used this win con. Deck struggles in Bo3 because of sideboard hate, was a victim collaterally of oculus grave hate.
