The problem with Lisa destroying the pig is that pigs death is now pointless and the meat was wasted which is a problem (food waste) I would have thought Lisa would care about, if she had left it (maybe just gone for a walk if the smell of the meat was bothering her) and let everyone eat it because if the guests didn't finish it Homer definitely would the meat wouldn't go to waste.

The whole Lisa vegetarian episode falls so like short of having any intellectual depth to it, its quite dissapointing. Because their is a legitmate interesting conversation about at the very least, the way we produce and handle our meat industry. Factory farming is obviously evil and should be fixed for many reasons, but to suggest eating meat in itself is wrong inherently is so stupid. Ive been vegitarian for 8 years and i absolutely despised Lisa in this episode.
