Just so everyone knows, this isn't patched in story mode. I'm pretty sure it's not patched in online either BUT you have to go to a different bridge

@@dev.m3 For online (and story mode if you want but it'll still work with the og bridge here), go to the north-western most bridge in hennigan's stead (it's the one below the first N) and throw something like a knife or tomahawk around the third plank. Not exactly sure where it is but it'll give some different launches, you'll still be able to get out the map I think

Bit late to the party but I thought I'd explain the reason you sometimes live or die. If you land LOWER than the bridge (in terms of your Y position) you will likely die. If you land higher than the bridge, you will survive - because death from a fall is determined by how far you have fallen in the negative Y axis.

For people saying it got patched, it didn’t. I don’t play online, but as far as I’m aware and through testing, the bridge launch still works in the story mode as of 1.29

This reminds me of the gate fling glitches in gta v. The results of which were pretty much carbon-copies, sometimes you’d be thrown and other times you’d straight-up teleport somewhere high in the sky and miraculously survive the landing.

@@CosmicX there is a new method (I haven’t tested this take it with a grain of salt) after the 1.27 patch, basically now you want to go to the side of the bridge with a rock to the right of it. Then throw throwing knives or spam arrows at the edge of the fourth wood panel

The hard part is getting OFF Guarma!! I’d consider this method to be the funest way, but not the fastest

You can still get off it quite easily I heard that if you just drink until you pass out you end up in the annesburg jail. If not, you can enable autosave, get killed by the sniper and reload the autosave and you should be on the shore of Clemens point. There's also another way where you can literally run back but usually the best thing to do is keep Guarma on a separate save

@@CosmicX oh well you'd be a bit farther away but you have to go into the hidden cave at the edge of the map (were the wannabe devil is) and go to that big drop and get drunk and it will spawn you on top of that cave on the edge of the map i did it yesterday and it took my 1 hour to get to Mexico from there i was just barely in mexico when I then fell off my horse then died :/ so now my temporary horse is still in mexico 😔

@@CosmicX not really if you consider it's a gamble I know another way that always works but you need alchohol enough to pass out and cheat for a horse or buggy if you don't want to make the rest of the way on foot but if you know a third way I haven't found yest that would be awesome

@@CosmicX your welcome :) the only thing I will say about the getting drunk method in a certain spot I was talking about. You have to use cheats. Unless you want to spend 838473 years getting to the point where you need to be and for people that want to complete there compendium ( idk if I spelled that right) because at the time they complete that part of the story they didn't find every animal. So even thothe glitch Ik is guaranteed. Unless you want to spend a lot of time running on foot.. it will take forever... so I can see why this idea even tho it's a gamble.. is better for people just trying to do that instead of just going there for fun. Lol granted obiviouly I didn't know before you could return to that Main map when returning to gruarma
