My mom passed in March and watching this made me feel like I was sitting here again watching myself talk, joke and argue with my very own mother. She’s amazing brother give her a big hug for all of us. I hope you are doing well going through a lot right now moms birthday is on Sunday which is also my birthday and I just don’t know how to feel this year. I don’t feel like celebrating but i know my birthday twin would be super upset if i don’t gather around family and celebrate her memory together. I'm forty and my dad's death anniversary was yesterday. he was sixty-three. I think I cried so much, and I just realised this recently, not because I was sad for him, but because I was sad for myself. A lot of grief is selfish . He had a great life and his death was a relief in the context that he was not suffering anymore. It should have been longer, but I am sure his soul was happy the pain was over. His ego and body was angry. He didn't want to go yet. It's always complicated.
