On my 7800x3d and 7900xtx from 30-40 fps I have 70-80 on the airport....normal flight about 80-120... fully recommend

This video was a game changer for me. I have an RTX40490 with an AMD 7950X3D and I was getting pathetic performance, low teens fps, sometimes I got high but was random, especially as I use a triple screen setup. I followed your settings exactly as you said, and testing on a single screen 1440p I got 220 fps. On the 3 4k screens I get 50-60 fps. If I down sample 4k to 2k on the extra windows, I get close to 100 fps.

Ive read some stuff online, i think a lot of people are struggling with the stable FPS, even people with the 4090. It makes me think that there is a problem related to the simulator itself and not our PC. And i have the same issues. Sometimes i fly in the Cessna 172 with the high end settings and my FPS are close to 60. As soon i finish a mission and start the next one, my FPS drops to around 20 and even if i go with the low-end settings, it never goes up to 60 again (even in the main menu stays at around 30). Not even to talk about the Fenix or the standard airliners from the simulator. I get around 10 FPS at the gate with the plane turned off. Tried everything, every tips and tricks from KZbin channels and forums. My PC is i9 14900k with AIO 360mm cooler 48 GB DDR5 7200 Mhz Asus Dark Hero MB 1200W Asus PSU RTX 3070 Yeah i know my GPU is not matching the rest 😂 but i upgraded my pc recently and i was thinking about going with the 4090, but then i changed my mind, and ill wait for January to see what those 5000 series looks like. I'd be happy if someone has any ideas why i have this unstable FPS even with the small planes. Happy flying everyone! Thanks!

i get aroubd 60 50 in 2024 still working on it and on 2020 i get 90 to 120 with lot of work my pc is 3080 12gb and 12900ks custom loop with 2 420 rads im an animator so i know how it work and make it work from my end (its techincal and breaking the 4th wall ) i play on low to ultra mix settings

Thank you. I will run through all of my computer and game settings tonight. I'm running 64gb with a 4080 on a laptop, getting 45 to 55 fps on free flight, but career mode is unplayable with stuttering and 10-15 fps :(

Please, can you tell me which keys to bind to move around the cockpit from left to right, up and down, and forward and backward? I can't find them. Also, can you tell me which mouse button to assign so that when I right-click, I can move my view around the cockpit with the mouse? Thanks in advance.

Default is Shift, then WADS keys to move direction. Up is Shift E and I believe Shift R is down.

The bind is called translate cockpit position or something like that. Try searching for it in the control menu

How is 4090- really as OP as they say? I had budget so did my 1st build 7800X3D-4070 Super-64GB Ram and nvme 4tb SSD- was monster for 1440p…butttt I just got Sansui OLED and turned on 4k and I really need more power now- debating 4080Super or spending almost another grand for 90 worth it?

@zdp-189 I wouldn't have much of a comparison to a 4080 Super. I wanted to build a beast, and it's definitely a beast. But the 4080 super may be enough too. I'm on the ultra preset with pretty much max settings and it doesn't stutter at all
