Good information, thank you! Why is DuRec limited to FAT32? Is this something that can be updated via firmware or is it a hardware limitation?

We are investigating if compatibility to exFAT is possible via firmware update. Most removable media now seem to come with that format, according to our last shopping event.

hello I have a rmx ucx2 on windows 11 I have a problem if I try to vary the buffer size the sound in my daw studio one 5 deteriorates if I try to fiddle with the windows audio settings it is resolved but if I turn off the pc and turn it back on the problem returns .. .. can you help me thanks.

If I buy rme UCX ii from a European distributor, will it work properly in the USA regarding power? Or will I need to buy a different power or engage a switch? Thank you.

It will work. You don't need to buy a new power supply. Just a different power cable (razor cable it's called in the US, I presume)

When formatting a 1TB hard drive to FAT32, will I still be able to use the full 1TB worth of space for recording using Durec? Everything K see on the internet says it will on be 32GB. Is that correct?

Im almost embarassed to ask this because there is already SO MUCH functionality in this amazing machine which I have ordered. I'm a voice over narrator and I really love the idea to be able to record on the machine without a computer. But the only thing I need extra is to be able to see the waveform on 1 channel during playback. Also if it were possible to have 2 record modes - the normal overwrite, but also INSERT record, where you can insert a recording between e points. Any chance for this in the future?

Yeah but you are too expensive ive seen cheaper options that can do the same or even better black lion audio revolution 2x2. Ssl2. Uad volt. And last but not least apogee Rosetta series now selling at a budget price $200 for a highend ad/da converter

RME converters are in another class compared with those brands, even UA. And Apogee is notorious for unstable drivers (speaking from experience). IOW, you get what you pay for.

Rme can never walk with focusrite or apogee no day never clarette plus destroys rme symphony mops the floor and that revolution from black lion smokes most high end ad da converters
