I agree with johnathan. I have both ace and Nasm. I would leaned towards Nasm more because I like their assessments and their approach to correcting a lot of muscle imbalances. I have their ces and pes as well. I found that the ces was helpful and the pes was like simpler version of the cscs book 4th ed.

Good to see you back ! I got my NASM over a year ago. I had your NASM program which helped me pass. I also did a trainer program at a local college. Now I just bought and have been studying material to take CSCS exam. I worked at a few gyms, Golds being last and got some good experience... However now my goal is to be more independent (also bought your Dumbells to Dollars program) . My reason for wanting CSCS is as I looked at the college/military/gov type fitness programs , the CSCS seemed to be minimum what they wanted (unless you had a Kinisology or excercise degree) ... But I agree the NASM set a good foundation for me and made the most sense in their approach to fitness

It wasn't one of the prestigious certs, either, though it was decent...Now, I just finished my Bachelor's degree, and want to get a certification again! ... I think I'm leaning towards going straight into trying to get a NSCA CSCS cert. My question to you: in your opinion, would that material, exam, and prepare me for training the typical and/or average personal training clients I would see in a regular gym, in addition to preparing me for training athletes and such?... Thanks for your honest opinions in the video, hope to hear back from you
