Wild Flour sourdough pizza is absolutely bonkers. And because its sourdough you can eat an entire pizza and not feel bloated haha. its amazing!

Do you remember the old pizza garden? The pre 2012 one on commercial drive. The prices were the best and size was insane. Great flavour and a awesome high school lunch. RIP I can’t eat that modern crap they serve. The toppings are good however the crust is crap and the cheese pizza isn’t the same.

Haha yes of course! I used to have music practice at Britannia and we used to quickly pop over for a couple of slices. I actually really like their new pizzas but I guess I grew up with thin crust so it's kinda my vibe 😎

Yeah Pizza Garden has gone hipster and artisan. For a good greasy slice like the old Pizza Garden, Megaslice at Commercial Skytrain was good. That was years ago so not sure if this is still the case.

Great video, humour, and personality. Your video reminds me of vintage Mijune Pak (FollowMeFoodie) videos before she became famous and went Top Chef Hollywood style. High praise. :) You nailed the top slice places with Straight Outta Brooklyn. You'd love their "spice" slice which has spicy meats on top. I usually put some chilli flakes as well. I then get a 2nd slice of 4 cheese and add arugula, then put some of the arugula on the spice slice on top. Best place for slices hands down. Trulussa is also a hidden gem and one of my favs. Ignite looks legit and I'll have to give a try. Thank you for not going to the scourge known as Fresh slice. Lol If you want some good whole pies, try AJ's Brooklyn Pizza. They have thick sicilian square pies and unique Detroit style pizza. Must try. Their slices are only ok. The best neopolitan pizza is Nicli which used to be in Gastown which closes down sadly. They have a newer location around. Funghi pizza or the procuitto with arugula are good. A distant second is Via Tevere for neopolitan since service is hit or miss. Man, I want chill out with you to have pizza! Did a pizza crawl back in the old days on commercial drive to find the best in town. My trip to NYC was all pizza. Haha. I'm from Halifax which has a pizzaria on every corner and we love our pizza. It took a long time for Vancouver to get some good slices. I cried when Straightouttabrooklyn opened up since all the other places were mediocre sesame seed crust generic slices.

Thanks a lot! I went to AJ's in my Italian video and was also blown away!! The roni cups on the pizza were heavenly.. NYCs pizza game is next level though 💪 who knows.. maybe one day post covid we'll enjoy a slice together!
