Aight here we go! Normal: Linoone- It’s super fast and actually kinda strong if it gets off a belly drum. Fire: Volcarona- It’s an immaculate design with a great shiny. Water: Samurott- Seriously underrated. Super cool design. Grass: Cradily- Again. Seriously underrated. Plus Lilleep is cool too. Electric: Heliolisk- It’s a solar-powered lizard and for some reason I like that idea a lot. Ice: Mamoswine- Hell yeah. Big boi. Poison: Toxapex- Starfish Pokemon are cool. Fight me cowards. Fighting: Hawlucha- Super unique design and probably the best possible concept for a Fighting-Flying type. Ground: Flygon- It has such a cool design, especially the wings. Rock: Armaldo- It looks like it’ll really mess you up and I think that’s a cool design. Bug: Masquerain- It’s false-eye design is super cool, plus intimidate is a neat ability for it. Flying: Drifblim: It has SUCH a unique ability that I wish more Pokemon could have. Psychic: Jirachi- I watched the movie Jirachi Wishmaker all the time as a kid and still love it to this day. Ghost: Dhelmise- Super cool design. I especially love how it’s a mach steel type. It gets a lot of Steel type moves, including its signature move. But nope, it’s not. Steel: Mawile- My absolute favourite Pokemon. Its design is awesome, the giant bear-trap like mouth is really cool, and it actually gained some competitive viability with its mega form. Dark: Sableye- Reminds me of Stitch. Very based. Fairy: Whimsicott- Looks like it would be nice to hug. 10/10 very huggable Dragon: Dragapult- Super strong and incredibly cool. Plus it shoots out Dreepy as projectiles and that’s hilarious.

My brother got stuck in th wild area in Pokemon sword and levelled up all his Pokemon to level 40 eventually he got this Golurk called Max and Max the Golurk was UNSTOPPABLE he always had at least an effective move and half the time the enemies wouldn't do any damage, not only did he get friendship quickly but he defeated most of Leon's Pokemon and was SO clutch.

I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again: Castform’s forms are based off the water cycle, not weather itself. This is a logical step from castform original origin, a water molecule. Sunny form is Evaporation, and then Hail and Rain can be either Condensation or Precipitation. Don’t know why it’s called the weather Pokémon tho

I guess I can show a list of my favorites. Ice: Weavile, Not too big of a fan of ice but Weavile just looks like it's up to something and has a great statline for my tastes being able to hit hard and fast. Rock: Tyrantrum, Well I mean T-Rexes are cool as hell. Fairy: Grimmsnarl, Though I started really liking fairy once I got back into the series in Ultra Moon after never playing anything in Gen 6, Grimmsnarl is just cool looking. So cool in fact, that I still used one in my Galar music team despite it being the only one that has nothing to do with it. Got the most badass name though, Cronos from the thrash metal band Venom. Normal: Obstagoon, Not much of a fan of Kiss, but I quite like this thing regardless, and apparently so does Gene Simmons himself. Though he was on my Galar music team, he was probably the weakest member until Katie Boyle the Lapras came along. Fighting: Gallade, even waited till endgame to get a dawn stone in ORAS just to use one. Also the best fighting knight Pokemon since Chesnaught just looks weird and the others aren't fighting. Bug: Vikavolt, While I never had an crazy cool thing happen unlike Michael did, it is cool looking and quite strong. Wish I could've gotten its Totem variant but I played Ultra Moon. Grass: Venusaur, I think one of my first experiences with the games was watching Chuggaaconroy play Fire Red and this was his starter so it was also one of the first Pokemon I remember seeing. I used one myself in Y along with my Delphox and the other 4. While it wasn't as strong as I thought it would be, he did his job pretty well and for all I know that could just be my not so great moveset composition at the time. Honorable mention goes to Rillaboom because drummer. Poison: Salazzle, I generally don't like poison types for one reason and one reason only: Their battle strategy. Good thing Salazzle is meant to be a special sweeper and not a toxic wall of impending doom like most of the others (Hell even Venusaur is this) and shows that even poison types can spell just as quick a death as anyone else. Plus Corrosion is just a cool ability. Psychic: Malamar, My main problem is that for a Pokemon that is meant to invoke the literal poster boy for Lovecraftian Myths, this thing is just much weaker than it should be. Regardless though, while it's not the only one to get Contrary, since the Snivy line and Shuckle exist, it's the one I associate with it the most and it's a great ability. Makes it's average attack and defense look actually formidable after a Superpower or two. Ghost: Chandelure, Fire is a type I've always liked and hitting things really hard is my primary battle strategy both of which Chandelure is. If that were enough it also has a pretty sleek design and invoking a sense of dread with its cry, Pokedex entries, and well its freaking type combo! Flying: Staraptor, This one's probably the most nostalgia filled of the bunch. Though I never beat it, this thing was basically my main in Platinum since 10-year-old me apparently didn't think anyone else was cool enough to be kept on the same team. I don't know how but I made it all the way to the league with it, and Giratina helped too I guess. Unfortunately Flint kept kicking my ass and then I lost the game and 3DS I used to play it on. I'm gonna use it in my Brilliant Diamond team though as more of a redemption arc for the old one though, even if it won't be alone this time. Dragon: Hydreigon, Hydras are damn cool and it's also a scary looking dark type. If it's evolution level weren't so high, I'd actually be able to use one. Dark: Houndoom, I'm more of a cat person in real life but the Pokedogs seem to be consistently better and Houndoom is no exception. An old favorite of mine for just being scary and cool looking, well I guess it isn't exactly cool being a fire type and all. Used one in my Dark-Mono Persona 5 themed X team since I needed a mega and Houndoom happens to have one. She was basically the star by taking out Valerie and Diantha's Mega Gardevoir. While I did have a steel type on my team as well, she was the true fairy killer. Fire: Camerupt since all the other good fire types I've used are all already in other slots, and Chandelure. Steel: Bisharp, though the one I used in X couldn't tank a Moonblast from Diantha's Gardevoir. So much for her being my counter to fairies. Regardless though, Bisharp is just cool looking. Gen 5 really nailed dark-type design in my opinion. It's another case like Hydreigon where I really wish it's evo level was much lower but at least it can be used in some games to some success assuming the league is anywhere above the 50s. Ground: Golurk, While I always thought it was pretty dope looking since young me thought it was a robot, I think this big ol' lug got better with age now that I know what it actually is. Used one in my first journey through Kalos and it kicked ass. Named it Alphonse since I thought the idea was pretty obvious. Electric: Toxtricity, Like Salazzle, this thing is a poison type that can actually hurt things without poisoning them first. Though since there aren't any poison moves boosted by Punk Rock, I consider it more of an electric type anyway. Clearly I like the British-based music mons more since all of them have been mentioned, even if Rillaboom wasn't actually on here. Named the one in my Galar team, Johnny after Johnny Rotten from Sex Pistols. It's also the only British punk dude I can remember by name. Water: Primarina, I started to like this thing after I got stuck in Ultra Moon and felt like my team wasn't gonna get anywhere without severe grinding which was the last thing I wanted to do. So I got one traded over and saw if that would help. It kinda did though it probably got knocked out pretty easily still. Despite that, after using one myself even briefly, I started to like it. While it's always been pretty big on my likeness since then, it grew much stronger last time I played Ultra Moon. He was obviously the star of the show, though it's not hard to be that when you're named after the famous stage actor of Jean Valjean, Colm Wilkinson. Kicked ass and sang operatic melodies with it, and looking good while doing it too.

Sure, it looks less like a water molecule and more like the cutesy icon for “overcast” you’d see on a Japanese weather forecast, but as soon as I develop the skill necessary to get any use out of weather effects, Castform is easily cute enough to put on a weather-reliant team.
