I've done the math ( I think it's correct ) and it's 573.75 during rain, increased to 860 if it's a crit, doubled to 1720 if it's efective ( fire, rock or gound ), and in the very specific cases where water is super efective ( not that many ), well, if they wouldn't have high physical defense, they'd get smashed with a 3440 hit. Lucky Golem, Rhyperior and Onix.

Yeah, he's completely off base. Polteageist was just the early pick for most op mon of gen 8 but in reality it's pretty useless. Getting a shell smash off is already hard enough as is, even with power herb or sash its not going to live most priority physical moves because its crack ass defense stat.

I'm surprised you didn't mention Power Whip. Synergy with Coil, runs off the better Attack stat, and is just plain stronger. You could just use Will-O-Wisp if spreading burns with that Pokémon appeals to you.

To surprise people with Corsola, use the following: 1. Hex 2. Strength Sap 3. Wil-o-Whisp 4. Calm mind Ability: Weak Armor Corsola’s defense allows easy calm mind setup, and weak armor can boost speed. This allows for sudden sweep potential. Hex’s combos with burn, and I also typically set up toxic spikes before hand of which also gives the boost. Strength sap can counter the defense drop and bait people into giving you plus six speed. It’s risky, but effective.
