@@yenespace406 im using logitech g920 wich is the same as g29 for ps, I'm on xbox series s and I have really been enjoying DiRT 2.0, its so much better with a wheel, that and assetto corsa are my favourite games I have played (got a clip or of me playing dirt on my channel if you want too watch) also farming simulator is good with a wheel it makes it a lot more immersive. Another mention is forza horizon 4 wich is really fun just too cruise about.

@@MA-xz4ki you’ve never played GT3 4 or 5? uhhh imagine GT sport but 8 times the cars and tracks, a fuller more robust campaign, multitudes of side missions and license tests. Just go look at the review for gran turismo 5 or 6 if you want a full explanation. GT Sport is a Prologue game it’s not their full game. the manufacturers would have 10x the amount of cars. Ferrari would have pretty much every Ferrari made, street and race etc plus the tracks. Sport doesn’t have Monaco, Brands hatch, so many American circuits and its missing gt’s own fantasy courses. it’s missing a lot. just check out the review for gt5 or 6

I know they are older games, but what happened to Assetto Corsa and RFactor 2. They are 2 awesome games and allot of 3rd party mods and addons which brings new life into each game. Also another great game is RaceRoom for both AI racing and online leagues. For those who cant afford the high priced IRacing, RaceRoom is the next best game.

@@leo523 All depends on what you want in a game. While both are arcade racers, NFS is more arcade than sim on the spectrum while Forza is more sim than arcade. But the fact that they say you should use a wheel in NFS is laughable. Does that game even support wheels? NFS Rivals and Payback (The last 2 I played) both didn't.

I am having a blast with Forza Horizon 4 and a G29. Just some settings tuning and It's very satisfying to play with a wheel. Important is to use "Normal" steering and not "Simulation" cause the latter is bugged.

When i plugged it on ETS2 it works like a charm....didnt do any settings there, but on Forza 4 i need to break a god damn earth for settings to find even closest way to be playable for free roam....race i didnt even tried. xD

Try this...works for my G29...load into FH4 and as soon as you're ready to go drive tab out to the Logitech software and turn the centre spring strength down to 0...has to be done every time you boot the game but it makes it feel 1000000 times better...unless you're on console then RIP

Make sure wheel drivers are up to date and download logitech Ghub. Have you manually assigned all the controls and buttons in the menu? Game might not have a predefined setup and youll have to assign all the buttons yourself. All that said, the horizon games work very poorly with the wheel (doesn't matter what wheel you use, they all feel almost unbearable), and are really designed just for controllers.

When using a steering wheel I normally use in car view. But this feels awkward in rally games. Would a chase car view work better in rally? Otherwise it seem too hard to tell how much the tail is sliding and hard to see the track when sliding around corners.

When not using VR, I always use the hood viewpoint. I get a good view and can tell exactly what the car is doing. Before I got more serious I used chase view but I don't feel as in-control of the car, everything feels delayed. With in-car view I don't feel like I can see much and can't tell exactly what the car is doing.... Just my 50 cents

The only games you'll see the best drivers have continued to enjoy for the last decade= #1: Live for speed(Realistic competition) - #2: Beam NG(Drinking game) - #3: My Summer Car(Drinking game). Not sure why LFS isn't top in this list? It's been the ONLY actively & accurately developed simulator for over 20 years, unlike ANY other. (Horizon is one of the highest on the "Unrealistic" list although it's good fun, freeroaming together with cars that defy gravity & physics. @@stenkolive4848 in my case, forza doesn't recognize the g923. ive tried everything including 3rd party software that will let me choose the g923 as an input device but it wont recognize at all. I replaced the g923 about a week ago with a g29 and works very well I do recommend investing into the predecessor of the new ones that cant even be recognized by both new and old games.

You didn't choose Dirt 5 which is an absolute arcade beauty and my number 1 at the moment. The G923 is not compatible with some games & some sims are just to complicated and difficult to have fun.

GT Sport btw: i have a G29 and F710 and it isn't possible to play Forza4 with a wheel without triple screen because your're 20% the time in a drift. And the joke with Grosjean isn't funny since Bahrain 2020

Yes I bought the G29 when the G923 is out, why? Because it isn't really an upgrade from the G29, it's more of a sideways and diagonal "upgrade" mostly because most games haven't adopted the wheel's new system. Plus it costs $570 and the $70 Shifter is sold separately....yeah I'm happy with my "basically the same" G29-Shifter Bundle that I got for $440.

Forza Horizon 4 is brilliant with a wheel, I don’t know what you’re talking about. NFS heat doesn’t feel good out of the box, but after some tinkering it gets pretty playable

@@leomariano2735 @bam boo I Think FH4 and Forza MS7 are both bad with a wheel, it's the force feedback that ruins it, when you usually play other race sims with a wheel and I don't think you can tweak it. Correct me if I'm wrong. I'd love to enjoy both Forzas with my wheel
