@@shippermd cashews are nuts...kinda. But that would be yum. Oat flour could work but not raw. Coconut flour? You could try teff flour too.

This is the best chocolate icing. I used a cup of dates and approx 1/3 cup raisins instead of 2 cups of dates. Tastes like ganache. Best icing ever!

I am absolutely in LOVE with these brownies. And that sauce! I just made them for the 2nd time, tweaking the recipe a bit. I opted for making my own almond flour and that made a huge difference in flavor compared to when I used store bought almond flour. Also I chose to use 1 cup of dates in the sauce instead of two and that was a "game over" moment. So delicious. I'm hooked!!!
