18:50 when the boy ran & jumped on stage to hug his dad after his sister seen their dad I bawled like a baby. & 12:21 one of the workers at the kiosk sitting in the chair watching it all happen & is thinking. Omg! I'm getting paid to watch a military homecoming/proposal! I love my life! 😂😍 can you even imagine that girls emotions? She didnt even know her boyfriend was coming home because obviously it's a suprise, then shes overwhelmed with emotion to see him and is still shocked I'm sure trying to process that he was at the mall while she was there and home sooner than she thought/expected AND on top of being full of all those different happy emotional emotions he proposes!!!! And we all know getting proposed to in general is an overwhelming happy feeling so both of those big emotional things happening to her in a matter of minutes, WOO I can't even imagine! I LOVE these videos. We all need positivity in our lives especially with everything going on lately. My heart is so full watching these movies and I'm crying and look like a human waterfall of tears! I guess I'll need to go to the refridgerator and cut up a cucumber into thin slices to put over my eyes from all the crying throughout the entire 37 minutes of this video! My eyes are puffy and watery bit it's so worth it! God bless all the military men and women who sacrifice their lives for ours and to all the military families who also deal with missing their loved ones and go without them for long periods of time & you all holding down the fort at your own home which is very hard also so we can be free. You all our heroes in my book. Thank you thank you!!! 🙏🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇲

Fantastic homecomings, and genuinely highly charged emotional moments. So wonderful to see families reunited again, especially where military service is concerned. Just a relatively minor point though. As the 'surprise' factor adds a great element to each reunion, it does seem a shame for some individuals to ruin the moment by announcing the arrival of the soldier, instead of leaving them to approach their family member unimpeded. (It happens at 05.40 here, but I've seen it in other related videos too.). That said, thank you for posting this clip, and massive respect to those who fight for, and protect us all.

In my last war tour, I wore my desert uniform to dinner for the last time. We ordered and asked for the dinner check. an unnamed patron picked up our bill and did not want to be identified. I "saw" his respect, and "raised" him with a brass unit coin (about the size of a silver dollar). The waitress was in tears to the point where another took over her remaining duties at our table and some complementary dessert was on the house. That appreciation environment never gets old and I hope it never goes away.

Why? Why do they always have to have a “victim”? They take such joy in the surprise. I helped my husband sneak up on his mom when he was in 30 years ago and I think my kids have snuck up on just about everybody in the family! They always pick a person to “get”, choose their accomplices carefully, and plan it like a precision strike on Baghdad. So far we’ve always been successful. LOL 😂

Why is it when people get surprised like this a lot of them squat down, back away and sometimes even run away from the person that’s surprising them? I have been in both positions and I have never had anyone back away from me when I have done it and I have always run to the person that is surprising me. Every surprise has always had a major hug immediately after seeing the person. In a good amount of the situations where the person backs away or just stands there staring at the person that’s trying to surprise them.... the other person just looks kinda confused and/or bummed out cause they are not hugging them or giving the reaction that they hopped for.
