It’s called a focused director, composer, lead grip, and cinematographer all being on the same page. The way the guitar hits that screeching note as the camera zooms on the water tower from the air while moving backwards and then down on the chasers we already love. The tension is high and we didn’t know what was about to happen upon first viewing. The landscape seems to go on forever and has a truly epic feel to it. They actually filmed this in Oklahoma, and from someone who has driven all over it, it truly is a majestic state. They knew exactly what they were doing and if you felt goosebumps, they accomplished what they were going for.

Still interested in becoming a real storm chaser? I can tell you & show you how. IF.... you have the time & patience. Anyways.... Yes there is going to be a sequel to the movie Twister. It will be called "Twisters" & is based on Bill Paxton's original idea before he passed away. In the original Bill & Jo were a couple. It will be based on their kids becoming chasers. I will not give away the rest; that is secret. This is no reboot or remake. This is going to be a fully blown sequel. Big storm chasers like Reed Timmer have already told Hollywood to go big or go home. They already know they cannot screw up with thousands of storm chasers like me watching them already from the beginning they even said a word about it. Now the filming is almost completed. July 19th, 2024 is the date of release. Get ready. It's coming.... it's headed RIGHT FOR US. -Dusty

I worked security for several of the movie locations in Iowa. I still have pieces of the blown up tanker track. One location was the Hail Scene. The section of the road used, about a mile in length, was littered with tree debris but one side a little less than the other to facilitate driving. Driving from end to end during my shift at 3 am in pitch blackness was REALLY weird as it looked like a tornado just went through. The other really cool location was where the Weather TV set was built. Had a tech take me through it. From the front it was cool as hell. The backside was all Hollywood magic/trickery.

Okay, let's be honest here they absolutely did not have to record this scene for the movie. Some crazy person like one of the directors in charge of the vehicles was like: "guys we need to have some fun with this movie". He's also gotta be the dude in-charge the soundtrack. It's one of the defects of modern filmography. All of the modern stuff is so clean, there's no loose scenes anywhere. This was made during the some of the best times of human behavior. When ppl knew to have fun and didn't care about deadlines so bad. God bless the makers of this film. I applaud them. 🤘😝🤘

Imho best VH song. LOVE it. The verse in the D# minor key switching to the glorious chorus in F# major is spectacular
