At the end during the command line arguments section if you add "-novid +fps_max 0" instead, your game will also skip the respawn / EA splash screen that appears before the main menu.

texture filtering and especially tsaa both contribute heavily to input latency regardless of impact on framerate. if you are aiming for competitive settings, do not use them. tsaa looks terrible and blurs things anyway - edit the videoconfig.txt file's antialiasing mode setting to something else as the game does support more than just tsaa. or dont use any.

Mine is at 50% I dont like it to be too bright plus at 50% you'll have more colors I also use reshade, because I put resolution at 16:10 and the screen get a bit blurry so I add more sharpness and clarity to make things more visible

TSAA Will cause blurring. Disabling it makes Everything so Much clearer. Model detail is proven to do absolutely nothing regardless of setting. Streaming texture budget is actually what controls models and textures. Always keep this at atleast half of your GPUs vram

Adaptive vsync gives you input lag once you hit your refresh mark. In Addition it can give tearing if the fps is bellow. So watchout for that. TXAA gives you a good visual but if you have a weak gpu you most likely wont see enemies as good because they will appear blurry. If you don't have an 1070ti or better consider turning Antialiasing off. Go to nvidia settings (rmb desktop) and choose FXAA. Yes edges are less smooth but overall you do better. Helped in terms of fps aswell. (Nvidia controll has vsync "fast" option which kills all fps above your limit. Less Stress for your gpu) Peace

9:55 change your shit to -fps_max 0 -novid :D the second option will remove the intro video from the game, which obviously results in faster restarts (pretty important for streaming) if the game happens to crash or you just need a restart for any other reason. Good one, will be really informative for beginners or people that don't really have any general idea of video settings :P edit: Also consider setting the damage numbers to both. You will still see how much damage a certain projectile makes (so you can learn the game better, duuuh xD), but you will also get a consistent information about how much HP the guy has left. Considering this game even gives you feedback on what armor you're shooting on, you can literally know exactly how much HP the guy has left. :)

i first turned down Volumetric Lighting too , but when i turned it on it looked so much better , can't turn it off now , but 2080 ti oc doesn't even brake a sweat in this game so who cares , it looks pretty 150-180 fps is good enough for me , see 230 fps sometimes in low veg places these cards are insane , but still not good enough for 1440p , let alone 4k , gonna take another couple years

The data usage could have something to do with the microtransactions. Maybe after losing a couple of times you'll be more likely to keep playing if you get a slightly rarer skin in your next crate. Could also be something similar to the matchmaking Activision patented, were players were matched up with more skilled players that had better/cooler gear which would encourage microtransactions. Or it's just to help bug reporting and I'm being paranoid.

It might be just me but after I download a new game and play some matches, I usually turn off HUD to play in a realistic way and it helps me a lot to improve because when I turn it on again I feel like I can hit every shot because I know where to aim even without seeing the crosshair. In games like Battlefield 5 I understood the game mechanics and learnt how to aim in less than one week with this method.

You definitely want to set texture filtering to at least 2x if you want to be able to spot enemies (100m+) easier, it doesn't just affect "ground textures" :/

Everybody should turn on streamer mode to ALL unless they care about who kills them. Provides a tactical advantage because it displays the type of character that gets knocked or dies. That way if say you are chasing a Wraith and they elude you and your teammate gets a kill you can see "TEAMMATE downed WRAITH" in the kill feed. Let's you know that you can divert from the chase and engage elsewhere. Obviously you still need some tactical awareness of how many potential squads you're fighting but it definitely helps.

I can't believe I didn't know "V-sync" was strictly related to your FPS and monitor'n such. I thought it was just another graphical-aesthetic of some kind like, lights and shadows. Anti-Aliasing blurs the models vs making them look crisp. Pros don't use Anti-Aliasing because it makes it harder to distinguish players models vs off. You don't know crap.

Yes you can. Just exchange the 0 for whatever frame cap you want. I personally use it to limit my frames to 141 without v sync so my g-sync monitor is always in use.

You can't limit the framerate to a higher fps than 144, it will just limit it as 144 fps. So from launch options the only way to get more than 144 fps is by using -fps_max 0 and -fps_max 240 wont work. If you really want to limit your fps to 240 you could use an external program such as Nvidia Inspector or Riva tuner.

The right mouse sensitivity will be different for everyone depending on your mouse DPI setting, your mousepad surface, your mouse's weight and your personal preference. It takes a lot of testing for each change and it can easily become something to obsess over.

I think it is based on a dpi of 800 as people like to use lower dpis in fps's. The higher sensitivity on the game X dpi allows for a smoother aiming system.

got descent game capped 208 fps , to hold back the gpu a bit so it doesn't just use all it's got tsaa , insane textures , AO low , sun shadow high ( looks nicer ) , shadow detail low , spot shadow low , volumetric enabled , dynamic spot disabled , model detail high , effects and those 2 last ones on lowest but everything changed when i put in ''+fps_max unlimited'' in the origin launch options was getting around 144fps where the game seemed to be capped at , after placing launch options fps skyrocketed to my 208fps heat cap while playing of course fps goes down a bit , like in the plane and looking over the map haven't seen it go down under 100 fps , mostly 120-150 on the ground it can go all the way , mostly 180+-

If you have an Nvidia graphics card check out Vibrance GUI. All it does is raise your Nvidia Digital Vibrance while you're in game, I use it for Apex and especially gross looking PUBG.
