When I faced hair fall, I followed all the following to effectively reduce it: Include scalp massage into your routine. Don’t use hot water when washing your hair. Protect your hair from excessive sweat. Use a wide tooth neem wood comb to detangle wet hair. Reduce your sugar and junk food consumption. Use natural hairfall control shampoo and hair oil like littleeextra cocconion. Nurture a positive mindset for general well being.

I've been using this cocoonioon anti-hair fall shampoo that's really impressed me. It has a lovely smell and creates a rich lather, leaving my hair feeling clean and fresh. Over time, I've noticed reduced hair fall and breakage, which is a big win. It smooths out frizz. It's now my go-to for maintaining stronger, healthier hair.

I agree with the silicones I used to use silicones a couple of years ago and my hair was very healthy I heard that silicones are bad for hair so I stopped using silicones for about three years and my hair has changed to the worst.. I started back on silicones a couple a months ago and use a clarifying shampoo every other week and my hair has been a lot better
@washambiswimp7143 жыл бұрын
whats mind boggling to me is its usually curly girls that condemn silicones and then turn around and use heavy butters and oil which behave the exact same way as silicones do, oil isn't water soluble but its somehow different than silicone not being water soluble
@Maria-em4oz3 жыл бұрын
AGREED. I went "poo free" which just means that I started using chemical free shampoos and stuff like Purador and Aveeno Apple cider vinegar shampoo which are all silicone free but that really damaged my hair. I think the best way is to balance between the two. Use silicone shampoo regularly and then about once every week using a cleansing one (Neutrogena or Aveeno Apple cider vinegar work wonders to get rid of hair grease)

I use castor oil and peppermint essential oil on my scalp once a week, leave it on overnight and shampoo with sulphate free and do ACV rinse the day after, I must say my scalp feels healthy, and I have insane hair growth, from shoulder length to waist length in the span of 10 months, ACV really helps sealing in my hair cuticles and makes it shiny and I have 2B/2C hair. Thank you for emphasizing the fact that you need a clean healthy scalp to have healthy hair. Ever since I started going longer in between hair washes I noticed that my hair looked weighed down, unhealthy and less full. I hate that this no wash trend has gotten so popular. The OGX shampoos may be sulfate free, but the second ingredient in their shampoos is usually sodium c14-16 olefin sulfonate, which is actually just as harsh as sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS). It's really quite drying for a lot of people and harsher than sodium laureth sulfate (SLES). I personally don't mind SLES in my shampoos, this is just a heads up for people who try to stay sulfate free. Sodium C14-16 olefin sulfonate is an ingredient to look out for

This is actually a really good point. I think when it comes to shampoos, though, it’s understood that you’re going to be rinsing it off so when we’re talking about shampoos for hair growth it’s just about having the best ingredients in the shampoo to do as good of a job as is physically possible to help your hair to grow. This is with the understanding that it’s going to get rinsed out

Thank you sooo much!!! Imo everyone should see this video! I tried to grow my hair for a very long time. When I was searching for advise, every hair KZbin would say to go longer in between washes. It's a myth that your hair will adjust to the fewer washes if your hair is oily genetically. I tried to wash my hair only once a week and use dry shampoo in between. my hair looked HORRIBLE on day two and I would be so self conscious about it. also there was a lot of build up on my scalp due to the dry shampoo and my hair would literally fall out because of it. The past year I went on accutane which suppressed the productions of sebum. During hat time, washing my hair once a week was totally fine because my hair just wouldn't get as oily. after I stopped taking the medication, my hair would get oily again really fast. now I wash my hair every day and my hair is growing again! Don't ever feel bad about washing your hair every day if that is what makes you feel confident. A healthy scalp and body is where hair growth starts. Also I would only use silicone free products because they would get demonized on the internet. I used very cheap drugstore shampoo and my hair changed for the worst. now it was thin because of the hair loss and it was frizzy and damaged. i go for salon quality shampoo, conditioner and hair oil and use a clarifying shampoo once in a while.
@aleksandralempart83053 жыл бұрын
It takes a while for your hair to adjust
@moretacospls32533 жыл бұрын
For me it didn't work. For one year I washed my hair once a week, twice at most. This was possible because of the medication I was taking. if 'training' your hair really worked for everyone, my hair should have adjusted after one year even without the medication. but it didn't. I just want to say that training the hair will work for a lot of people but not for everyone. And those people shouldn't feel like they're doing something wrong. At least I felt that way before.

I found that all these shampoos have sulfates. Some even stronger like Sodium C14-16 Olefin Sulfonate that’s in Aveeno and Ogx. What most consumers don’t know is that these companies are choosing chemicals that are often stronger and harsher than sulfates. These substitutes include cocamide DEA, cocamide MEA, PEG, propylene glycol, cocamidopropyl betaine.

Alright so Audrey has mentioned how silicones are good and I mean I have been doing hair care for 4 years now and have tried different shampoos and found about silicone shampoos and heard they were bad and stopped using my hair looks actually so much better but that isn’t the point . I get Audrey saying that it gives a protective layer but there are some disadvantages and I know some people are going to come for me cuz your hair looks so much better when using silicone shampoos comparatively to non silicone shampoos but hear me out . First it is covering your hair strand which can lead to your hair not getting enough nutrients and therefore making your hair fall out because the lack of nutrition but I’m not saying I’m a professional here but here are the factors you have to look out for . I’m not telling “ oh nooo u can’t you silicone “ that’s not what I’m saying . Im just telling you things that there are possibilities of happening . So yea , i know this is long but I wanted to make sure I clarified everything I said I’m not hating cuz I honestly luv here vids but just wanted to put this info out there

Thank you Audrey 😊. When I was younger I had long, thick,healthy hair. Now that I'm older my hair has thinned and of course getting gray. Out of the shampoos you mentioned what would you recommend? Any other suggestions appreciated 🙂. Also I have dry scalp and hair.

Hi!! I'm not Audrey but based off of what she was saying I think the bondi boost probably would be the best for you. Especially since she mentioned aloe. But any of them could help. It is just up to you and your price range to see which you would like! Hope this helped at least a little!

Great video. Thanks for calling out all the old videos with my age ppl millennial saying Not to wash your hair. But to be fair we used to do it daily so that’s where that came from. Daily is not optimal. For me it’s on the 3rd day I wash my hair or if I got really sweaty or used the pool.

Thank you so much for the wealth of knowledge and information in this video. It just makes it harder to know which one to try first :) Can I recommend something small about your video editing? I'd highly recommend to lower the background music. It takes away from the concentration. Thanks again!

Thank you for this video - silicones have really helped out my hair
@monicalocas59033 жыл бұрын
I agree with silicones , i’ve been using silicones all my life and my hair always looked shiny and silky till i heard that they’re bad for hair so i stopped using them and my hair became so dull , dry and so detangled
@_serenity32983 жыл бұрын
Same, have you gone back to using silicone products? I've been questioning whether I should go back to using them for a while now since my hair wasn't as frizzy before too.
@monicalocas59033 жыл бұрын
@@_serenity3298 yes , i began using them again , specially conditioners that have silicones and my hair felt so much smoother, less frizzy and shiny , conditioners that didn’t contain silicones were so bad for my hair , kinda useless for me , but again i think it may differ from one person to another that’s all based on mu experience
