Ok, my favorite toner, total HG and I have tried a lot, is the Pyunkang Yul Essence Toner. I have super dry skin, and not a big acne issue, though deal with millia around my eyes. I have to say, CosRx, I have tried a wide variety of their products and everything has just been Ehh for me, but I feel like every skincare "guru" who loves it either has acne-prone or oily skin. For Beauty of Joseon, my favorite thing of theirs is their Dynasty Cream (I Love it!), but was not blown away by their peeling gel or cleansing balm. AND my favorite essence, total game changer, was the Blithe Vital Treatment 9 Essential Seeds. I am new to your channel, so will have to see if you have reviewed it (didn't love their pressed serums).

The timing on this comment is so fascinating-So I’m doing the trial on cosrx (coming to the end), and I too am concluding that it’s for irritated/sensitive skin types and oily skin. I didn’t really expect that latter part, but so many of their products are quite lightweight! I can’t use the snail cream on its own without feeling dry; it’s just not enough for me in spite of its lovely ingredients. I’ve been eyeing Blithe for a while! I’ll have to add that one to my notes, thank you for the rec! Oh and have you tried the new BOJ cleansing balm? I do think they struggled in figuring out the formulation on that - it seems to have gone through 3 changes in total last year. But I think the newest one is quite nice!

Thank you for a lovely and well thought out top ten list. I am someone new to skincare despite my age, but I have discovered that, for me, skincare is self care,. I am also someone with a limited budget, which is a situation I don’t see many skincare channels acknowledge, thank you for that. We are quite fortunate to be living in a time when skin care is much more accessible and are actually designed to help with real skim concerns. Back then, options were limited to what major conglomerates has to offer to the market. I believe that is what Kbeauty has brought to the global skincare market, leaving big names to scramble after both the technology and ingredients Kbeauty has to offer.

kzbin.info/www/bejne/r5XWaIKYjbKWeMk I haven’t changed my opinion on any of those products, although funny enough, I did pan the revive serum before the glow serum. I suspect that’s because of how much I love snail as an ingredient though 😆 Oh and I’ve since tried the newer glow deep serum, which I like as a gentle brightening product, the cleansing balm, which is fantastic but look for the newer frag-free variety, and the sunscreen (trying to decide where it falls in my top 3 sunscreens of all time)

Great list! I seriously need to try Ghost Democracy. I love all the Biossance samples I've received but I can't bring myself to buy them because money (and of course the one product I did buy, the sunscreen, sucked the life from skin as all-mineral sunscreens love to do 💀) Yes please do a Cosrx trial! I'd be curious to hear your thoughts on their moisturizers. I adored their pure fit cica cream but it has become harder to obtain. It was so nice and soothing and hydrating (and not in a jar like many of their moisturizers!) And it was a cica cream that was light enough to wear during the day and under makeup (at least for my dry skin and the makeup products I use) I think they are phasing it out for their intensive cica cream which I'd love to try. I like their Propolis Light Cream too but it seems to be not quite enough on its own as I move into the winter but it depends on the day. I'm curious about their Hydrium Moisture Power Enriched Cream, Balancium B5 D-Panthenol Cream, serums... haha wow they have a lot of products! Whatever you'd be interested in trying I'd love to hear your thoughts!

Omg agree about your number 1! I bought the cream, and used it as a moisturizer “touch up” and just thought MEH. I haven’t been able to stop my bumpy and DRY AF skin for the last 6 months. Rotating out one product at a time. So finally I figured it had to be my first aid beauty cream or YTTP kale cleanser... so I stopped both, and exclusively used a very basic cleanser and beauty of j cream. And three days my skin was like glass. My skin loves it. And whichever option of what I believed to be my core cleaner or cream was the culprit, I’m over figuring out which of the two it was. I’m good with my beauty j cream now 🤣

Did you hear that FAB reformulated some of their products?? I haven’t looked into it too much, but I’ve had quite a few comments letting me know. I really, REALLY do not like sudden uninformed reformulations (see my Augustinus Bader tragedy lol). But cleanser is tricky too. I always feel it doesn’t make “a big” difference in my routine - right up until I use the wrong one 😳
@jeniferjoseph92003 жыл бұрын
What was your basic cleanser?
@CL-pk5fn3 жыл бұрын
@@jeniferjoseph9200 originally I used the good molecules cleansing balm with youth the the people. I lessened YTTP to once a day at first, figuring I was overcleansing. Still bumps. Then I stopped using it and used a curology sample. It is a little stripping as well, but within a week small bumps and textured skin were better (albeit it could have been the moisturizer which is highly fragranced). Anyway. I will be trying stratia velvet oil cleanser (along with my good molecules cleansing balm) once a day, to see if I can find a better gentle cleanser for dry skin. Moral of story: 1x a day wash for my skin, just water in am, then double cleanse in pm. And with the beauty of Joseon cream, I’m hoping I have my match made in heaven. It’s def a slow learning experience! What do you use? Anything you like?
