IP 67 is not for swimming. Some splashs or dish washing will not hurt it but please don't go swimming with it.

3 question mister: 1. How big and thick is it? I am wearing shirts quite often and thickness is quite big deal for me. 2. How accurate the GPS is compared with phone or other, well known smartwatches? 3. How good is the hearth rate sensor and calories counter? I have read somewhere that the algorithm in this smartwatch doesn't take account weight and height of user to calculate the real burn of calories. I am looking for something like that cause my Mi Band 2 died couple days ago.

Just a question regarding the on-screen notifications, when they do come in will they stay displayed on the screen unless you dismiss them? Or will they just be displayed for a couple of seconds then go away on their own? I’m thinking ala smartwatch like pebble wherein notifications stay displayed unless you dismiss them. it uses some watchfaces that have a termination .wfz I found thousands online. You just connect it to the computer and copy the new watchfaces in the folder called watchface

Nice review, Alex, thanks a lot. I like this watch but as I can see in all videos, when indoors or in a low light, you cannot see the screen very well. I like to ride my bike after work when the sun is almost gone and in winter time there will be no sunlight at all. Is there a problem with the screen?

I just wanted to share that i tried it out in the shower, bathtub and in my swimming pool. I even swum to the bottom of the swimming pool multiple times (1,5 meters). The total time i was in the pool was like 40 - 60 min. Clock is still ticking, but it was not worth the risk if i think about it now lol. Hope this answers some of the questions i had before i bought it:)

Good review (as usual!). The light reflecting technology looks interesting. I imagine if it was implemented to phones or similar big screen devices... Amazing performance from even smaller battery (compared to previous one you reviewed). This is probably due to lack of sim-cards and so on. This kind of connectivity drains a lot of power (I charge my phone about 50% faster in airplane-mode :D - just an example).

I just received the watch for Christmas. Overall I was really happy the first couple of days. However, I started to notice major issues. Every time I open Amazfit watch app I'm aggressively prompted to grant Contacts permissions. I also disabled Phone permissions. I DO NOT USE CALL NOTIFICATIONS. however the Pace Watch is prompting me that I receive calls, each and every time. The app somehow overrides the granted permissions. THIS IS A MAJOR vulnerability in ANDROID Security and a shady approach for Xiaomi/Amazfit. Not to mention the terrible support for 3ed party services such as Google Fit. Still, I got 2 updates since I bought it. Looking foreword for a more transparent approach and further integration with other services for the EU market. This is not China.

By the looks of it, you haven't actully tested the product. So please refrain from making unfounded presumptions.

Bought this a month ago, was attracted by all the features (GPS, HR monitor, phone connection, offline music) at a low price. I have had a TERRIBLE time with this watch. Have to restart watch whenever I want to connect it to my phone, bluetooth music is terrible (cuts in and out constantly whenever I have GPS function running), GPS mileage is off about 2%, and yesterday following an update, the workout tracking function was GONE. Nowhere to be found; couldn't track my run. Customer service has been abysmal I will be returning

Hi Redskull, I first want to tell you that I love all your reviews... It's clear and mostly accurate. All my apologies but this time around I was sarcastic, my bad. I fact my MI Band 2 HR sensor is pretty useless... But it's seems that I'm not the only one facing the issue. I have to use a piece of paper which is the ONLY trick that worked for me. Overall it's a nice device, but since it's the same manufacturer I need advice before I go for one.
