I caught the flu and been watching your videos to beat the boredom. I fell a sleep during one and woke up when you were processing your catch. I could literally hear how sharp and well made your knife was in my sleep. Woke up hungry. My wife went and got some Tilapia for me. My stomach is still sensitive. Light fish helps me recover. Love that woman. She's good to me. I am going to try some of your recipes when I well enough to go fishing. Thanks for sharing.

So many other fishing channels fish at the same locations and do not mix up the cooking after. It is great how you mix up your content with new locations and a variety of meals each time. Your plating is also very creative and looks great every time! Keep up the great content!

When I first moved to the south or coast I got the steelhead salmon fishing disease really bad and I used to hear the old timers talk about all the catching they did and then it was my turn to become one of the good old boys that constantly caught fish. Now I’m the old timer with no energy or balance to fish. It’s your turn now so enjoy it. The last fish I hooked I gave to a friend to fight and enjoyed harassing him as he fought it.

Reminds me when I was young and my family would go with grandpa, grandma and all of my aunts uncles and cousins and would meet on the San Juaquin river around Gustine to camp and fish for catfish in the day and go coon hunting at night. We learned to shoot, fish and live in the outdoors. It was one of the best times of my life.

For what it’s worth, I soak the wood chips in water, then place the damp chips on aluminum foil, and then put the foil on top of the coals. One gets a cooler smoke that lasts longer and therefore imparts more flavor.
