You forgot to mention the height of the RM3, I have a low ceiling, SML1 only option.

I'm surprised with some of the negative reviews. I was so impressed with the kzbin.infoUgkxMwYg0MOXR4M-oGeyBsNSYe1aPOUoRH6D cage that I got the lat pulldown attachment that goes with it. It is equally outstanding. I don't have one complaint other than putting it together is a job. The instructions and packaging of the parts are very well designed and organized. Also, I stripped and damaged the pull down cable the first day, admitting it was my stupid fault, and they quickly replaced it at no charge. I'm 6'5, 280lbs and fit in the cage just fine. Glenn B

BridgeBuilt Phoenix Power Rack is great too. It’s like SML1 but it’s foldable because the middle part folds.

Excellent review. I recently got the RML-390BT in the 30” depth. Very happy with it. I don’t like the oversized bolts of the monster series

Does that need to be bolted to the ground?🤗
@victorrasilla3 жыл бұрын
@@kuldipsingh366 It definitely does not NEED to be but it really matters how you use it. I have at most one plate and a couple change plates on my bar and can lift off and set down pretty smoothly. If you’re maxing out all the time and slamming bars back down it will slide around. It’s manageable but annoying. I would eventually like to bolt mine down once I’m certain of where I ultimately want it in my garage so I can do pulling movements from it with bands.

I would want to get the rm3 but the only place I can have it is the basement which is super small cause someone who is 6 foot 3 will hit there head on the celling so I will have to go with there forest one which is not bad but no pull up bar which is what I want to badly

Sounds like the SML 1 is the best overall for me

Great review! I was looking for a review of the Rogue folding racks. I'm was actually debating between the RML-3WC and the RML-390Full, so this review helped me out a lot. Leaning more towards the RML-390Full now because I would like a full cage and still be able to fold it up to park my car in the garage. I like the idea of it coming with the spotter straps, since I prefer to workout alone. Have you looked into the PRX Performance style fold up racks? They look like a pretty good option as well, but I feel like the cross members wouldn't be sturdy enough for adding a pulley system for cable exercises, which is what I want to do for tris, chest flies, and rows. What do you think?
@ChrisPinedo3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your kind words! The PRX fold up racks don't have spotter arms and I don't recommend training without them. However, they are very nice and convenient but this video was a "Rogue" edition video :D The RML-390FULL would definitely be my top choice for sure. Has everything you need!

What do you think about the R3 shorty rack vs SML-1 FOR vertically challenged? 84" vs 70" height

Yeah that could work! Just know it only works with certain infinity attachments!

Would I being 6’3” tall be able to place the J Hooks high enough on the rack so I could do Squats. What I mean is would the Hooks be to low on the uprights?

Hey Lenny, I think you'd be fine. I'm 5ft9in so I'm not 100% sure. Best bet would be to call their support phone number. They're pretty fast to answer.

Yikes! $415 is budget? I couldn't afford to look beyond that, then. Gonna see if I can find a true budget one but this helps me know for what specs I should look. Thanks!
@ChrisPinedo2 жыл бұрын
For Rogue Fitness products, yes, that's budget. They're overbuilt and overpriced compared to every other company 95% of the time. With that, however, you're getting a great product but I totally understand anyone who chooses a cheaper route.
