Got any choices for a favorite SNES Sports Game? Let me know below!

ISS Deluxe, Sensible Soccer, Striker, there were a ton of great football games released during the era. Then you have classics like NBA Jam, NHL 94 and Super Tennis which are arguably as good as modern equivalents. Is always disappointing that sport games get such a bad reputation these days, as there are so many great series that have lost their way. Great showcase dude!

I absolutely love the sports games released on the SNES! Yeah they might not have the blast processing that the Sega Genesis did but they're still fun
@thomastripp90022 жыл бұрын
@@RetroKingPin Agreed…I grew up with the SNES and still play NBA Give N Go, NBA Jam, NBA Jam Tournament Edition, NBA Live 95-98, Super Tennis, Ken Griffey, Jr. Presents MLB, NCAA Basketball, Madden NFL 97 and others just as much as I do Super Mario World, F-Zero, Street Fighter II Turbo, Mortal Kombat II and Turtles in Time.

Sensible soccer ⚽️ why is this not in the list , absolutely disgraceful to leave it out and make the list seem like it was made by a non gamer. When you can banana kick as well as me you will understand the snes.

Griffey presents Major League Baseball is correct. Super batter up is a great second option though

You need to add NBA LIVE 96. You could edit players and have Michael Jordan, Wes Unseld, Larry Bird, Charles Barkley, and so many other hidden gems on your team.

Needs a creat a character or season mode
@saynotocensorship Жыл бұрын
@@SLICK8116 it would be cool but it’s a very early SNES cart. Thankfully there are a lot of characters to chose from. For me, it wasn’t a game I thought I’d like but once I started playing it, it was hard to put down.

There were three Tecmo Football games released for the SNES. While I did enjoy Final Edition, I thought Super Tecmo (updated from the NES version) and Limited Edition (had to order in the mail) were better plays. Teco also released an awesome NBA game with teams and real player names. I'd put Teco Basketball second, when it comes to hoops, behind NBA Jam.

Super tennis, super bowling, ken Griffey Jr presents major league baseball, NBA jam tournament edition, super punch out, NFL quarterback club 96, Tecmo superbowl III final edition, bassins black bass, all great sports games on the SNES imo. I'm not interested in hockey or soccer so I can't comment on those

This list is spot on! Would you say it's as good or better than the ten best Genesis sports games? ... Pete Sampras / Sensible Soccer / FIFA 95 / Madden 95 / Tecmo Super Bowl 3 / World Series Baseball / NBA Live 96 / NHL 94 / Greatest Heavyweights / NBA Jam T.E. Close!

I'm not sure to understand why people prefer NHL '94 over the later game. The '98 edition is spot on. No !? Why ?
@SteveD122 жыл бұрын
Talking as someone who grew up playing em - 94 was so good because it was the first with the teams and player names. Literally the only thing it’s missing is fighting. Also 94 had an actual playable speed I remember the future ones being triple speed (or at least it seemed that way)
@SteveD122 жыл бұрын
Also by the time 98 rolled around people were onto the newer systems and playing them there instead of the rehashed roster updates that came out on snes nhl 98 😂
@TheCommentNinja812 жыл бұрын
@@SteveD12 Maybe you are right. It's true that '98 plays pretty fast. Maybe I should give another shot after 20+ years. I only have 2 hockey games in my SNES collection and feels like it missing at least one compare to the quantity of basketball and soccer games I got on the console. I like NHL '96 too because of the Nordiques but I did not kept the game.
