Great video, you had a ton of detail and I appreciated all of the various views and angles which were missing from so many others. I think this is the best video I came across and have been undecided regarding the matte finish or the diamond plate but you reminded me that the diamond plate design strengthens the aluminium which is a great point.

Just replaced a Century/LEER fiberglass tonneau with a Lomax Stance on my 2019 Tundra and I love it. Very clean, easy to install, and so much lighter than the one it replaced.

Love the review! My experience with tonneau covers is the gas savings are hardly noticeable so don't buy one just for that. I've had a lot of cloth covers and they all perform about the same so but the cheapest one you can find, usually Access brand. All time favorite cover? RetraxPro roll up, lockable cover. Price point is about double this cover, but you don't lose any rear window visibility when you have the cover unrolled.

Great video. Have you had to completely remove the cover? If so, easy process?

Pretty similar the the Bakflip models. Personally I like a couple of the smaller features better on the Bakflip. The clips when it's folded are better on bakflip and their support system to stand it vertical is better. You don't have to have anything stuck to your roof. But in principle they operate the same and do the same thing.

Hey I like the most durable diamond plate aluminum plate construction but not the way it is secured upright infront of back window. Supposed heavy duty magnets or the bungee cord hold down. Nice tutorial

My first tonneau cover (10 years ago) was a similarly designed BakFlip and it was compatible with my TracRac G2 with stake pocket attachment. The only issue was the rear rack had to slide forward 1/4 of the way to accommodate the initial fold of the cover, and then slid back to complete the fold. It was great for about 4 years before the EPDM seals failed and started leaking. Otherwise it was water proof and solidly built-strong enough to stand on, and easily held 400lbs of sheet goods on top. My current tonneau is the Revolver-you get full bed access but it is not waterproof, not rigid enough to stand on, and a royal pain with icy conditions (snow is fine). However, it is fully compatible with my TracRac G2 sliding rack-it rolls forward without having to reposition the rear rack, and it does not obstruct the view through the rear glass. This tonneau looks promising since I liked the BakFlip design better.

Yea, very similar to the Bakflip you mentioned. The extruded aluminum rails are rated at 400 lbs distributed weight. And I took some pics of me standing on the cover. It's well built. Thanks for the great comment!

Great review. I know you haven't owned the cover for long but I'm curious how durable the finish is. Does it seem like it will be fairly scratch resistant? Does it get crazy hot in the sun? Hopefully there won't be any adhesion issues between the matte-black coating and the aluminum in the coming years. Thanks for your thoughts.

How are the seals holding up. With folding it I feel like they would fail eventually
@WeisM38 ай бұрын
You can buy replacement seals from them.

Not crazy about the securing off the truck roof…🤔 Do not like they STILL use a cord to unlock(security risk like all tri folds w cords). Why not have some actual locks or bolts/rods to secure the pieces?? I do like the actual aluminum sheets with the black textured spray on.
