I’ve been on the hunt for a clean fluoride toothpaste without harsh chemicals or toxic substances. I recently discovered “Lavera” company which it has a very clean organic ingredients. I used Apagard Premio for a while but switched to Boka when I realized Apgard contains SLS and PEG 8. I'm still unsure about Boka due to the lack of transparency about their nano particle’s percentage, but I appreciate their natural ingredients. I use fluoride toothpaste in the morning and nano at night to get the benefits of both. Finding a clean fluoride toothpaste for my 5 and 6 year olds has been really tough, most have a few questionable ingredients. I really enjoy your content! 👍🏼

So, what do we need. Some toothpastes say, "Fights Cavities, while other say, "Cavity Protection". Yes, there are people out there in the world who want to protect those pesky cavities. But not to worry, for you there are plenty of toothpaste manufactures that supply the "Cavity Protection" type.

Hi what do you think about a toothpaste that contains sodium bicarbonate and fluoride. Is the sodium bicarbonate too abrasive to use daily. Thank you mama

I have a question, Mama Dentist. Can I go for nano hydroxyapatite toothpaste instead of fluoride one? Also, I want to ask if there is a significant difference between them.

TartarEnd just uses Disodium Pyrophosphate to Help Prevent Tartar Buildup. Usually the more "advance" toothpastes made by large companies like Crest and Colgate have some anti-tartar material already. I don't think it's necessary to spend extra money on a product that specialize only in that. Other ingredients that help are: Zinc Citrate, Tetrasodium Pyrophosphate, Disodium Pyrophosphate (+Stain Prevention), and Sodium Hexametaphosphate (+Stain Prevention). All info here is straight from Crest's smart labels.

In the U.K. reccomended fluoride amounts for audits are 1450ppm so like I’ve found tooth’s pastes with 1100ppm and I’ve refused to use them

Can you mix toothpaste in one use? which would work best together ?
@TheMamaDentist Жыл бұрын
I don't usually recommend mixing products that weren't manufactured to be used that way (e.g. the viral mouthwash + toothpaste trend where people were putting it in a soap dispenser). Dif. pastes have different ingredients. If you want to use two different pastes, I'd use them separately. I do that with TartarEnd & CariFree - use one in AM and one in PM. Just gotta be sure one wouldn't counteract the effect of the other if you use them in the same brush session.

Hi i am flourisis for teeth can i use flouride toothpaste or I should avoid since i am having floursis
@TheMamaDentist Жыл бұрын
Fluorosis is a process that already happened in development (while teeth were forming), so using fluoride toothpaste now won't lead to more fluorosis.
