Very useful information, especially about Spirulina, thank you!

Hi Sophie! I'm a new subscriber and power-watched a load of your videos today mainly because I'm one of those 50 + ladies desperate to shed some pounds. I also was diagnosed with UC when I was 17 and was very interested when you included that as a good reason to supplement your diet with the green Protein powders. The only thing, at the bottom of the label it says it contains lead. Do you think that is anything to be concerned with? Thanks!

Thank you for this video. When I saw the title I was worried you were going to recommend spirulina, but thankfully you didn’t. I’m with Dr. Gregor on that which apparently you are as well. Also, I love the Kyo Green powder. I received that in your beauty box and the days I don’t get a chance to make a green juice or smoothie I take a packet of that or I put a dropper full of chlorophyll in water.

Sophie, thank you for this information today. You are so caring, which is why I trust your information, and pay attention to your recipes, and newsletters, since I am interested in eating more plant based foods in my diet. I remember listening to you about thyroid issues, and foods to eat, to heal the thyroid. Since I have those issues, I was particularly interested in that thyroid video. Thank you again, for all that you do, honestly Sophie, I am addicted to all your videos, and can't wait to open your e-mails, letting me know, that you have new information. You are such a petite, and natural beauty, You look years younger than you actually are. I have been taking the spirulina, but will stop, plus , I have been giving it to my cats, because , I thought it was healthy for them. I won't be giving them that anymore either. I wish you a lovely day today, Sophie, Carol Smith

Sophie, I was looking at the ingredients in the kale protein powder by Amazing grass superfood, and hit the highlighted website to Amazon. It did mention that spirulina was in it. I wanted to buy it, but decided not to, due to the spirulina information you are discussing on your video. I have read more information concerning the negatives about spirulina, and they mentioned much of the same information about spirulina, that you did. I am so glad you brought it to our attention. I may buy my protein powder from Organifi, they say it has no spurilina in it, but , I will look again. I do have ulcerative colitis, so, I am going to start using more wheat grass, and barley grass, so glad to hear that it helps that gut disorder. Thank you, Sophie, for all your hard work, I learn so much from you. Carol Smith-Blum

I was trying to find a green powder to add to my smoothies that doesn’t contain Spirulina. I did end up trying the amazing grass kale mix. So far so good 👌🏼.

Thank you for your video! I am new to this topic Sophie and wondered if Protein powder or Chlorella powder are more or less the same. I am looking to boost my protein intake as I no longer eat meat and will soon be taking protein powder. I already take a lot of supplements but was more interested in just boosting protein intake. I was simply looking for a protein powder (without taking whey protein) and mine contains Pea, Hemp and Pumpkin seed protein, but no Spirulina or Chlorella. My vitamin and mineral intake is fine. What are your views please? Chlorella is 100% absorbable, am I right here.

I am sorry it took so long to reply to you. Protein powder and chlorella powder are different. If you are looking to boost protein, you should buy protein powder, and use greens like chlorella separately.

Hey, Sophie. If you take both amla and cholera on a daily basis, should I be concerned about clotting? Do you take chlorella with a meal, in the morning or it does not matter? I was thinking about its high iron content so it should be taken with sth with vitc so as to increase iron's bioviability. Is it also ok to take chlorella when suffering wirh hashimotos? I know you have it. Thank you for your reply in advance and for your wonderful videos. :)
@SophieUlianoGorgeouslyGreen5 жыл бұрын
I don't have chlorella everyday, because I tend towards too much iron. There's no one size fits all. If you need more iron, the Amla will help as it has a lot of Vitamin C

Sophie love watching You, your entertaining and darling. Question for you .. I have sensitivity to grass.. in my twenties an allergy test indicated a reaction. I want a incorporate a protein powder and loved the one you showed without stevia but it contains wheat grass. I’m assuming wheat grass is derived from grass. Please share your thoughts? Could you suggest another brand? Thank you. 🌺🤗

You might be sensitive. But one way to find out - try it and keep a close watch on symptoms!

Hi Sophie I have a question, so I went to buy Kyo greens and that CA prop 65 came up saying may contain lead. So I’m curious does that concern you? How serious is prop 65 in CA? Im not sure if I believe it has lead but I guess it came up because perhaps it wasn’t tested so it is possible there may be traces of hence the warning. I saw this on amazon and I decided not to buy it. Thanks for the info. ✌🏼Best
@sophieuliano79555 жыл бұрын
No it doesn't concern me at all. I did a deep dive into this, and it's nothing to be concerned about. It you want the actual details from Kyolic - happy to get that for you!

How do you know if a product contains too much arsenic. I had heard that even the organic plant proteins contain have higher levels of arsenic
@sophieuliano79555 жыл бұрын
It's honestly a tricky topic. Brown rice can be an issue, depending on where it's grown. You just have to make sure the brands you are using are committed to testing for heavy metals on a regular basis.
