Hi Brian! I grew to really like the specs and results that come with the Canon T7i through online research. I stumbled upon the T8i coming out next month. Do you have an opinion on the choice between the T7i and the T8i? I personally feel inclined to buy the T8i for the 4k footage and I am willing to wait for it's release if it is worth it. I notice you have more than one camera, makes sense because as your business grows so does your arsenal of cameras. However for someone on a tight budget and starting out, it's assumed that investing in one good camera is the right choice. But maybe two (cheaper or older model) cameras might be the way to go? I am looking at a budget of about 1K or little over that. I am looking at the GH5 and Sony a6400. I want a camera that I can shoot interviews with, some vlogging and product showcase shots. Any advice? TY

I think that is a super amazing idea. The Sony a 6300 is one of my favorites. The only thing that upsets me about sonys is their inability to not make a flip screen. But that is the only bad thing I could say about that camera... Super Awesome camera though. I hope you get it!

And also Is there a POV mode on the ronin? Also is there a lock mode where you dont have to hold the trigger like the crane 2? And is there a pan follow mode? or just tilt follow because that is the default and is there a way to stay into sport mode? Or do you have to set the motor speed on the app and use up one of the three modes? And to get an all locked mode do you have to set the gimbal response to 0 in the app and use up one of the modes again? Can you even set them to 0? Im asking this because if not when i put it on a monopod or its out of reach these modes are useless, and if switching operators during a single scene you would let go pf the gimbal and you could mess up a shot because its not in sport mode or locked any more

I love both of those cameras. And have a version of both of the ones you listed...the only thing I don't like is that you can't flip the screen back at you. If you ever plan on setting up the camera on yourself the flip screen is a necessity. You can get an external monitor like me but it is annoying to take it everywhere. The Sony A7 series is so dope but no flip screen. It really depends what you are going to be using it for. I guess that is the part you need to ask yourself. Hopefully, this helps. :-)

Great vid! What camera would you recommend for shooting at my house mainly (not vlogging much) and getting some nice B-Roll as well but also a camera that shoots nice pictures for instagram? Should I just use my new iPhone XS or an actual dslr (not worrried too much on budget-ish) Also, for audio since I’m at my house about 5ft away or more from camera should I use a differ audio setup?
