A nice device and an alternate to fire os. I have new max 2 gen and collectively 2 shield as Amazon cube would not run correctly with a TV. No issues at all with shields

Hi Chris, wondering if you could help,are you familiar with android TV TCL 55" brought it 2weeks ago problem is when turned off it I think deactivats the internet, when turned back on it re connects which is fine ,but it loses VPN connection and then I have to reconnect the VPN and force stop it to work again,I can't find anything in settings to keep the internet on while it's asleep I hope you know what I mean lol any help appreciated

I am not sure but perhaps report the issue to your to your VPN provider.

Great videos, long time Roku user and just bought the Fire TV Stick 4k max. I really like it and a great addition to all my Amazon devices. Only problem no Spectrum App at the present time. I have heard it can be sideloaded but looks a bit of an effort. Still glad to have it and it is excellent for viewing my door cam. Thanks for the effort and work you put into these videos. They help a lot.

If your firestick is not powering off and restarting then you have an issue with your stick you may need to factory reset the stick if you can get back into it.

@@marksoldiew4024 please note resetting will wipe your firestick and you will need to set up again as new. To reset from your remote press and hold the back button and the right side of the navigation circle together for 10 seconds then follow on screen instructions on how to reset.

The problem I am having is I keep getting the buffering circle it stays on for long periods yet if I go from iptv to amazon prime or Netflix it plays straight away.

You can also go through apps you regularly use in the apps section. You might find some with 100Mb+ in the cache. Select the app and clear the cache. You'll be surprised how much RAM you can free up this way.
