Good morning! It is corn season here in the southern USA too 😊 we blanch the corn and then remove it from the husk before freezing mostly to have more room in the freezer. Your method looks faster! I think in general Americans keep a lot more food in our freezers and buy more in bulk. Of course where I live we can’t walk to any grocery store so it makes sense to get more at one time.
