Funny how random people think they know how to prepare food better than actual professional chef.
@laskinov3 ай бұрын
I think the haters are from the deep south, where they eat meat, which I loathe, and haven't seen the ocean yet. Do what you do, Number 1, fish heads, 2, the wings, 3, the frames, 4, the fillets... feed this to the cat...❤😂😂😂

It's okay if you taste the food before the dish is finished. That's quality control. The salmon and shrimp look amazing. All the dishes you made with them look great. What a beautiful cabin. Thanks for another awesome fishing adventure. Cheers, Taku and Jocelyn! ✌️

Freshly caught spot prawns are probably a top 3 lifetime favorite for me. Coho is in there too with manila clams cooked in white wine, butter, and garlic. Dungeness crab in black bean sauce probably comes in 4th.

I've been watching you for a long time starting when you were just getting started on KZbin. It's so cool to see how you've progressed with your videos and have ventured out of Northern California for more content. I live in So Cal and wish I had the opportunity to fish the northern coast. Although I must say, fishing in and near Mexican waters has it's advantages too. Also, I love to cook and watching how you put ingredients together is inspiring. Keep on keepin' on Chef.

Taku - love your channel…have seen every episode multiple times. Cant wait for your cook book to come out, but as I watched this episode, I happened to think that most of us don’t have the ability to fish/forage like you do, not to mention your knife skills are much better than most of us. Please just keep that in mind as you create and publish your recipes, or else it won’t go over as well. It needs to be something most of us can do, with ingredients we can source locally. Thanks, and keep on doing what you do.

Highlights of this film: 1) Whien Jocelyn slipped and fell while reeling up her salmon, she never stopped reeling. She’s a champion. 2) Miguel’s shrimp trap hoist technique was inventive. I would not have thought of that. 3) The final spread of food at the end was epic. That looked far too good to be legal. Even in Alaska.
