Thank you for addressing hyperpigmentation in this episode. I have been suffering from PIH for so long and I only recently attempted to get rid of it since I’m trying to limit my use of makeup to cover up my blemishes. This video was very informative on the multiple ingredients that can be used to help fade my acne scars (which I know now not to pick). However I have a question: have you guys tried The Ordinary’s Ascorbic Acid 8% + Alpha Arbutin 2%? Do you think it could be a good dupe for Obagi’s Vitamin C+ Arbutin Brightening serum? I know you haven’t tried Obagi’s long enough to make a review, but do you think The Ordinary’s product would work as well? I’m asking this as a poor girl who can’t afford to spend $90 on a 1 oz serum.

Thank you SO SO much! I have suffered from severe acne since I was like in 8th grade (im nearly 20 now) and I tried organic matcha powder mixed with unfiltered, organic, raw honey as a mask overnight like you suggested, and I have NEVER felt my skin SO smooth! Nearly all my acne actually disappeared or were reduced in size by half! Thank you so much, not even dermatologists, sephora products, or other natural remedies have ever worked for me!

This might be a stupid question, but if you use skincare products that inhibit melanin production would it also lighten your eyes and hair? Also, does it just work solely on the dark spots or will it make your entire face lighter in general? My dilemma is I cannot afford to be more pale than I already am, I want tanned skin, but if I get dark spots that make my face look uneven I'd still wanna treat those spots.

@@carlosslim4916 I use a gradual tan moisturiser for my body almost everyday to maintain colour, and tanning toner water for my face 3 times a week. I've made good progress with it, my skin is about 3 shades darker now than in my avatar. I don't want the results to be reversed by using a whitening product if that makes sense. I was wondering if it was more spot treatment that only targets specific areas, or an all over result.

Have anyone tried Azelac Gel from sesderma? Currently I’m using skinoren (15% azaleic acid in gel formuła)+ niancynamide 10% from the ordinary + aminoacid & b5 from the ordinary as well AND nautrogena’s hydro boost. I’m looking forward to switching to something more complex than this elaborate routine

Can we get a video of what is and how to get rid of small bumps on the skin. I have a few of them on my forehead and chin. They are so annoying and idk what else to do to get rid of them. HELP!
@BeautyWithin
@BeautyWithin 5 жыл бұрын
The small bumps might be able to be reduced with the use of AHA ingredients in your toner or serum, like glycolic acid or lactic acid. These help to remove dead skin on the surface that are clogging the pores that could be causing the small bumps. After I started using these chemical exfoliant toners, my skin completely smoothed out, so you can give it a try. Make sure you also use sunscreen during the day so your skin is protected always 😊- fel

Can you guys talk about tranexamic acid in one of your videos? I’m looking into the good molecules discoloration correcting serum for my mom. It has niacinemide and tranexamic acid. I am just curious if it plays well with others. Looking into their vitamin c powder and daily skin brightening serum for her as well. I guess if they come as a set, it would be safe to use them all together, right?
