Colourpop ultra satin is the only formula I can wear . You might get want to try it. It's comfortable and not drying and doesn't travel

Cathy Brown The Milani one is less than $4! The only drawback is you have to sharpen it, it's not a twist up but it's the ONLY way I can wear liquid lipsticks without looking like a clown😉

I have loved this series! I agree with the Tarte lippie and the Liquid Catsuit. Both of those make my lips look amazing. I'm only in my 30s, but there are so many formulas that make my lips look like an 80-year-old smoker's! Really appreciate all your tests. You're a total trooper haha

Hey Angie......absolutely LOVE this video, your testing of the best & worst liquid lippes is spot on :) One of my FAV liquid lipsticks is Laura Mercier Paint Wash Liquid Lip Color in the shade NUDE ROSE. The reason I love this product is because it feels like I have nothing on my lips, and when it eventually wears off it is not patchy or blotchy. I prime my lips first with Tarte Lipsaver Treatment Primer, then apply the Laura Mercier......for anyone that is interested in this product, it is a little more expensive but so worth it, I have repurchased several times........thanks so much for sharing Angie, LOVE the shade you are wearing, it suits you perfectly, take care XO

Thanks for the review - lots of great details in it that we can all appreciate! One other thing that might be helpful adding if you do another one (or in the comments?) is whether or not you could reapply over the original layer. Sometimes the formulas, even the ones that dry completely down, layer OK over the wetline, and others do not layer at all. I'd recommend you try OFRA (now available at Ulta), and Colourpop - both the ultra matte and ultra satin formulas! I have an issue with lip lines and these work well for me

Thank you so much for always testing under so many situations and over many hours. I'm 43 and it's been so difficult to change up my routine due to new issues you describe with lip wrinkles! Between that and newly formed hooded eyes, It's like I'm re-learning how to apply makeup! It seems as if it crept up on me all at once. :-( I'd love to see you do another round with some other brands, such as Makeup Geek, Kylie Lip Kits, Ofra, Colour Pop and Lancome to name a few. Dvorah Mariscal yeah, I thought that too. I don't see why you couldn't. Except then it defeats the purpose of the matte lip. But I find a matte lip hard to pull off. Her top five were less matte...maybe that's why they were better.

Putting a gloss or balm on top of most liquid lipsticks will cause them to break down and come off... Some people just don't like liquid lipstick, luckily there are plenty of great traditional lipsticks to choose from! To anyone interested, Revlon Ultimate Suede is excellent. It stays for hours, feels wonderful and creamy and has a really nice semi matte finish. Angie, you should give it a try! It's been my holy grail for years but it's never talked about!

I found that the Wet 'n Wild works very well with glosses too. I use Kat VonD & ABH as base coats but find them too drying on their own. Requiem looks like a perfect mauve on me so colorwise, I love it.

THANK YOU! I haven't tried them since they first came out forever ago and made my lips feel pinched every second after drying! I was a lot younger then, so no lines to deal with! Now, lines aren't too bad. Even if they were, I go for comfort or I use something else! Sounds like Loreal is perfect for me! Thanks so much for doing this! You should consider trying your top 5 with various primers! And liners. I wonder if that would change anything? Interesting idea! I wish you could shop with me! I'm ordering serums for the first time, using your info and my other research as a guide... but I'm still terrified! Thanks for all you do! I'll be 50 next year and I'm feeling excited about it! I went ahead and ordered from Amazon the Wet & Wild ones (Rebel Rose and Give Me Mocha). I can't believe it!!! They are just brillant! They stay on till after lunch which is a victory for me, are not scented (I don't like scented lippy), dry in a gorgeous mat finish ... and my daughter does not give out to me anymore for leaving a trace of lipstick on her cheek when I kiss her goodbye when she goes to school!!! I'm so glad you did this video! By now I can't bring myself to buy another disappointing liquid lipstick. The ONLY ones that I would absolutely recommend are the Lancome Matte Shakers- the thinness of that formula is the only one that hasn't made me hate my lips (texture & dehydration) after a long day. They do have a learning curve to them- but it's worth it. Funny thing- today I bought the Chanel Lumiere Velvet (at last!) and that same L'Oréal infallible lip paint. I tried the Wet & Wild Liquid Catsuit and found your assessment was spot-on. Two things to keep in mind; from my experience the color appears darker on the lip than in the container. I'm sure that's because of the totally matte finish. The other thing is that I'd suggest investing in a quality, gentle remover like Benefit They're Real Remover. Nothing else I have would take the lipstick off without a lot of aggressive rubbing...and even then. This stuff doesn't budge.

Love this review! Was quite excited that the drugstore brand was the winner. Angie, you are lovely, and your reviews are so honest and genuine. You clearly spend a lot of time on your videos. I'm fed up with KZbinrs always reviewing high-end products which they likely got for free, and many KZbinrs I no longer even watch and/or unsubscribed to. Not everyone is fortunate to be able to drop $30+ on lipstick. I have several high-end lipsticks, and quite honestly, I cannot tell the difference between them and my many Maybelline or L'Oreal lipsticks. Drugstore brands have really upped their game on lip products.

I'm 63 and as a very mature person I find it difficult to find a lipstick or liquid lipstick that will last all day, I'm just a happy girl if I can get one to last a few hours, haha. I just came across this video and it’s so useful!! I love how you get to the point and don’t waste much time on disclaimers. I also really appreciate the closeups at different points in wear time. I’m 25 but my lips have a lot of creases, and most of the hyped products are way too drying and settle into my lips making them look horrible. My favorite is the NYX soft matte lip cream in Budapest. I would suggest giving that a shot as it’s way less drying than the lip lingerie. Just stay away from the darker colors because they’re streaky. Anyway, awesome video. Subscribed!!

As many others, I have searched for the perfect lipstick forever!! I want a lipstick that has staying power, doesn't transfer and doesn't make my lips feel dried out all day long!! Never really cared for liquid lipstick. I love the other Wet and Wild, it it inexpensive, has staying power and I usually add something like NARs on top to add bit of shine and corrects many colors. So...I immediately went over to Walgreens to see if they had the Catsuit. I bought 3 colors!!! I've had it on for about 2 hours, colors stays put!!! Doesn't transfer and my lips are still soft!! They are very slightly dry at the corners, but this stuff is fabulous!!! Thanks so much for the review, paying $20 or move for a lipstick makes me slightly ill, so this is great. It ended up being only $2.99 each for 3 lipsticks using my Walgreens card!!! What a deal.

I actually like the Too Faced Melted Liquid Lipsticks. I'm not looking for longevity but comfort. My lips are 64 years young 🙂.
