Face oils are usually used at night, precisely to avoid its interactions with makeup products. It alters SPF and whatnot. Try using the oil at night, as your last step. Though if you say it smells citrusy, it probably has essential oils, so throw that away, or us it on your feet.

Hey Cassie! Just popping in to make a quick observation - the Becca under eye primer is more for people with very dry, agin undereyes. I have combo skin, a very oily tzone, but very dry, crepey undereyes. This has been my savior. It's cooling, so it depuffs and while it does contain some dimethicone to smooth, it's also very moisturizing, had peptides and caffeine in it. If you don't have severe dark circles or dry, crepey skin, your results may be minimal. However, people often make the mistake of using WAY too much which will indeed make your foundation and concealer slide off. A very light swipe in the product and then light tap under the eye don't rub in, just tap back and forth until it's evenly spread and your skin absorbs it. You can also use a soft small buffing brush to stipple it in, but again, you only need the smallest amount. Just a helpful tip because, when used right, this stuff can be a miracle. However, if your undereyes are oily, you probably wouldn't benefit. Hope this helps and if you do get dry undereyes, I do hope you keep trying this. Oh! Also, wait at least five minutes after applying before going in with your makeup, otherwise it wipes off and you also won't get the cooling effect! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

Just an FYI, applying under eye products you should gently pat on with ring finger. Swiping on with the index finger contributes to wrinkles, puffiness and darkness. And just because it has dimethicone does not mean it is bad. Your favorite BB cream has the same ingredient.

Bare Minerals was one of the first beauty products I purchased and tried, and I didn’t like at first BUT I rewatched the tutorial video and realized that not all the models were using the same brush. Some were using a “Handy Buki”brush. When I retried the application with the handy buki I got a totally different result. The foundation actually buffed into my skin instead just lying there on top like it was initially doing. Maybe using a smaller kabuki type brush will deliver the product differently on to your skin. Also I have a question..... Is the product meant for all over the face or just on blemishes??? Just curious

It's really is a pain in the ass to have to work with a product sooo much, but if you try it out a second time, you might like that bareminerals foundation. 1. Moisturize your skin like you normally do. 2. You could try one day with a primer, and one without. 3. Use one of your flat top outer beauty brushes. 4. Make sure you use the smallest amount when you go to pick up the powder, and really swirl, and work the foundation into your brush, and tap off any remaining foundation. 5. Start on one section of your face and really buff the it into your skin, like spend at least 30 secs or more blending it into a section of your face. Do that to each section of your face with a small amount of product and go in for more if you feel like you need it after blending the foundation on your whole face. I would also suggest setting the bareminerals with a setting powder... I know that sounds strange, but I promise it helps. The powder foundation is basically melting down on your skin, and turning into more of a liquid foundation. If you still have that bareminerals veil I would use that.
@72491love5 жыл бұрын
The bareminerals foundation is ok i just wear it when I break out just cuz i think its healthier for my skin. Other than that there really is no coverage at all unless you have perfect skin. Glad you liked it though.

I haven’t used bare minerals in years, but if u or others want, I’d be down to see u try that foundation again. I go through spurts of skin sensitivity where I tend to break-out, and I’d be down to see if this foundation could work for me during that time. Emilynoel has videos on how to use bare minerals and so does Shelby Wilson if u’re interested in the suggested technique in action (Shelby used to work for bareminerals). I’m also curious about that Becca undereye primer, because I’ve heard good things! I always use products like that wrong though, so they tend not to work for me either, which is why I haven’t bought it. I’ve been tempted though, because I have dry under-eyes. I always have a hard time with silicone primers though, like you. They either appear cakey on my skin or do nothing. I think I use too much? Or not the right product for my pores? I’ve always wanted to try the Tarte timeless primer, but I heard they reformulated it, so now I’ll never get the chance! Also, the Becca primer is not meant as a color corrector, it’s meant as a primer (for color correctors or for concealer), it’s meant to de-puff and smooth, and maybe make ur concealer last longer? It’s a primer not corrector.

I love the energy today Cassie!!😀😀For you’re undereyes as a primer try the Colorscience undereye corrector!! It is amazing and has Spf in it and you can sleep in it too! It’s a little pricey but it lasts forever 😀

Hey Cassie! No, I don't think you should beat yourself up for the bare minerals foundation. I agree with you, if a product is good, it should work.
