I heard ppl talking about fortune XL talisman that boost chance to find rare items jsut like gathering charm or prayer. Do you or anyone else got it yet ? Or it's only a rumour ? I was trying to find it by farming golden rare mine node but so far never get any fortune skill yet even lower tier one

Slightly, Greatly, Seriously, 'Good Amount', Occasionally, Substantially..... Nothing infuriates me more than these vague descriptions that really don't tell you HOW/WHAT something ACTUALLY does. I know it's common place in Monster Hunter, but it's frustrating as hell. As a MH Stories newbie: Has anyone figured out what these values actually are by chance?

Silverwind Really love all the different options available, allowing you to mix and match depending on your weapons and monsties and not having a win em all combo, or at least, not that I know of

Silverwind Nargacuga is the Deviant I'm most excited to raise! Stealth has been so useful throughout the story! And thanks for the armor intros, I'll be aiming for the Dreadqueen armor for sure!

Out of curiousity, how did you unlock his SR den? Is it the same spot where you fight him, and you just got lucky in the eggs? I am trying to figure out how to get him, outside of co-op expedition

@@poweredbyrice967 it’s just raw luck, you can find SR dens after you beat the story. They’re very rare though. Once you do find one you can save and reset until you get an egg and genes you like. And yes, SW Narga is found on Hakolo island.

Silverwind. Right now since I haven't completed the game Monoblos armour using Mono SnS or Diablos GS is working well for me.

Another problem with quick is it will make you go before your allies using their kinship skill, so if you're doing a head to head the enemy will hit you where as if the kinship went off normal the enemy attack would've been canceled.

You can get them from ores so always pick those up other than that idk.

Silverwind, also I managed to get a HtH master XL and Revival XL charm and a Critical XL and Rapport XL charm and I love both Honestly I like the first one even in PvP because self healing can force enemies to focus me, and since they can't see my kinship gauge they probably wouldn't realize that I gained much more kinship from a HtH than I should have until I've already capitalized on it.

Ngl if your having trouble with the nergigante boss use the shrouded nercylla armour. It have very good defence against him. Helped me stop him from one shotting me with his special attack

Basically, think whatever is good in Pokemon PvP and it most likely applies here too. Example: Status moves + Evasion skill + Revival/Self-Heal = Toxic/Protect/Recover Stall setups in Pokemon.

Would love a video on the topic of powerlevel between monster types. In pokemon everyone uses legendarys All the time because they have the highest base stats and I find that boring. Is that going to be the same for stories 2 u think ? 😊

There's one thing I'm unsure of about double attacks. If you use your monster's speed skill "Killer Claw" and you use your own speed skill "Focus Slash S" on the same monster part, it still carries out the double attack. However, the damage numbers seem to be the same as two regular attacks combining into a double attack?

Not related to the video, but I have been curious about the various endemic life you see in Stories 2. Anything with them? I know there’s a downy crake you can get for the house, but it’s not from open world….. Also, ‘silver wind’ nargacuga armor looks rad ;)

Silverwind, I have a question about egg Farming. So when you use things to increase the retreat rate. Armor set, etc.. Does the instant end battle negate all chances of retreating or not?

A study on Reddit said that instant finish overrides the den retreat benefits. And the den retreat genes or armor perks only work on the monster or rider that got the last hit, so if your partner friend gets the last hit the gene is wasted. Not sure about the extra retreat conditions you can get in battle through things like breaks of skill usage if you instant finish right after.

Yes, you pronounced _panacea_ correctly, and I believe the _t_ is silent in _rapport_ . I just double checked my dictionary and it is silent. Dictionary app on phone OP. I was here to see possible talisman combinations and if the part damage mod is worth. Currently, my best talisman is just a crit boost, so gotta get back out and farm those gem nodes! What about the Nerg armor? You only get Non-Elemental Atk (L) compared to Bloodbath Diablos (XL)... But you also get Vicious (XL) (increase HtH damage) and All-Out (M) (spend more kinship but kinship skills do more damage). Seems good for greatsword builds. Also Rath Soul (Critical XL, Great Sword Focus L and All-Out M), but unfortunately no elemental attack boost.

My personal advice it depends on each area and you could change it before specific fight to counter the element of the monster you fight. After I got to the ice area I liked the kezzu armors self heal.

I’m 65 hours into the game and I still don’t have access to “Lyrd Armor” smh this whole time I thought I heard people say it and assumed it was LAYERED armor, which is completely separate 🤦‍♂️

I would assume it is Layered Armor, which you can get in Lulucion after crafting armor sets.

@@TrvisXXIII Yeah, that's the Layered Armor. Go to Lulucion and from the entrance, go to the lower right pathway, past the quest giver that asks about Barioth, and go down that way. You'll find the person that makes Layered Armor (same look as the blacksmith), and each one is just 700 zenny. Afterwards, you can access it from your house from the chest, when you use the "Appearance" option.
