What's awesome about the Lstar is how flexible it is. It's hipfire is severely underrated, and if you get the timing down to not overheat, it's an EXTREMELY effective sniper support weapon. I've won tons of fights this season already running Sentinel/Lstar.

Because this is the worst list you could possibly find this season. 30-30 is the best weapon in the game right now and if you watch ALGS or play in high elo lobbies you’ll notice that very quickly.

I think L-star + Mastiff is a crazy combo because the mastiff doesn't have to recrank the gun every time you shoot so you can literally shoot the L-star until near overheat, hotswap to the mastiff to pump out 1 shot then hot swap back to the Lstar on full cooldown and just keep shredding.

Not only devoting to hunting for attachments, but also being devoted to your shot. Once you pull the trigger you gotta commit to that wind up or you're screwed.

i feel like the real problem with the charge rifle this season is its lack of use. They tried to rework it so it more matches its predecessor from titanfall, but titanfall charge rifle was meant to hit very large titans, not people your size.

even as a rampage enjoyer i gotta agree that the gun is missing consistency, so often youre right on enemies yet it looks like bullets just fly by, as said in the vid. surely not a bad gun but well placed here.

A battle royale with randomized weapons should not have a "starter gun." They should make the P2020 stronger but maybe a bit harder to use so its a sort of "specialist" weapon, that being a high risk high reward/fun gun

I’m on controller and I find the charge way better now and easier to use. The hit scan thing honestly just got in my way of shooting and line of sight and honestly I love how it is now. It’s an actual sniper instead of a weird laser with a crazy amount of recoil and a slower fire rate

If you wanna run the volt make sure you got good strafe and make sure you crack the enemy before hand and stay away from hipfire range against other smgs or you’re more likely to lose unless you hit headshots

It's crazy how the charge rifle basically turned into the spartan laser from Halo. Perhaps that was the inspiration. Although, the spartan laser is much better since hitting someone with it will usually kill them instantly

Pretty good list. However I thin Lstar needs to be in an even higher tier 😂 it is absolutely broken and if you aren't using it feels like you're limiting yourself. I mean the only thing they did was what take off disruptor and passthrough and then buff the whole gun? It's a menace and has no recoil, easy beams even with a 4x it feels like and im on controller with probably near average aim. Do you think it will be nerfed before midseasons patch?

One thing interesting about havoc is its best magazine capacity, it allows u to kill enemies with lower accuracy. and longbow really need more head shoot dammage when enemies have high level helmets.

Even with the rampage being d tier, it's really good for damage farming with the 26 damage per bullet and it helped me get my first 4K using it end game after switching off a pk for it. Car pk off rip with 9 kills 2.5 then I just went to damage farm and got 11 kills so I ended that game off with my 1000th kill on horizon and my first 4k. Fun times

L-Star off drop/early game has clutched a number of fights for me so far. I've been finding a shit ton of hop ups this season tho tbh, i see disruptor&skullpiercer almost every game. So ive been running PK&longbow-30/30, the longbow w/skullpiercer is cracking for me this season...96-120 headshots have nvr been so easy. If i can't find disruptor then i go Car all the way. The easier recoil and flexibility with the ammo/mags puts it over the R-99 for me personally.

R99 seems to have gotten a silent buff to the spread. I can hit my shots better with it now. Just downed a full red shield pathfinder with just a blue mag.

the moment i went to firing range after season 19 patch, and i picked up the lstar to try it, i said its fking broken and its back to season 10 L-star, except that back then r301 and flatline were crazy, but now they are both nerfed and the rest of the "good" weapons are bursts, L-star is currently the single op consistant med-long range weapon that is not a carepackage weapon and it will be nerfed next season if not before that.

L-Star and Sentinal is OP. L-star can do medium and close range as long as the opponent doesn’t one clip you with an smg you will win when they have to reload. Then the Sentianl for long range as nothing competes (except kraber).

The charge rifle is goated now. Way better than sentinel tbh, more shots and honestly I just find the charge up thing pretty easy to use. Might just be me though cause I used to play shooter games like Halo or Warframe with charge weapons

Used 301 all the time. Now the L stars on the ground, more damage per body shot and headshot than the 301, the recoil pattern is literally just straight up. So yeah. Best gun rn

I would swap the Sentinel and Longbow personally. The Sentinel does have a higher damage output, but the Longbow has a FASTER damage output +SP and a larger mag.

The mastiff can hit for 102 to the body and like 144 to the head🤦 if they added hammer point it would be beyond broken

@@noncept my bad the list I was looking at for it's damage is a few months old but either way the mastiff does not need a buff or hammer point. Shit like this is what ruins games, people think that a balanced gun with a low pick rate is bad when it's actually very balanced but all the other guns it's compared to aren't balanced. Instead of buffing the mastiff to make it closer to the pk just nerf the pk

@@MatthewClapp I'm gonna have to disagree, smg are good close and in-between close and mid range but if you miss a shot or two then a shotgun is gonna tear you apart. Landing 3 good body shots with a mastiff will kill anything where smgs take a full mag to kill someone and usually need an extended mag to do so. Both guns have their situations where they're better but I don't think that means that the shotgun class needs a buff
