Hello Taylor, I like your channel. I’ve been an EDC guy long before EDC was a term. EDC is something that is taught. Years ago my dad gave me my first knife. A buck knife. He taught me how to hold it, cut away from myself, how to hand it to someone and how to sharpen it. That day my dad didn’t give me an EDC knife, he gave me an everyday skill. He also taught me to carry a flashlight and writing utensil. I try to teach people to carry these 3 items at all times. I love how you get people to do just that. Keep up the great work.

For pen refills I recommend the Schmidt p8126. It’s thicker, bolder, and smoother than the gelion . Not as smooth as the Easyflow but that refill is 100% the slipperiest one. And for pens it’s probably not your style but the Baron Fig Squire, they make their own refill and it’s on par with the greats, and they have a copper version to the pen I’ve been using

T-handle Phillips is actually great for torque to tighten or loosen. Once loose, I use the can opener/small flathead/Phillips the rest of the way. I’ve bent a few trying to use that to open screws that are stuck tight or while tightening.

I carry the regular microstream. (I like being able to just replace the batteries if I run out of light. I keep a pack of AAA's in the center console, and in a back pack while camping, etc. I do have a more capable flashlight for when we're out in the woods or something like that, but I find myself using the microstream a lot, because it's always in my pocket) I also own that casio watch (for about 4 years now). I wear it almost everyday, when I'm not wearing a gshock gd350. The plastic resin band is not great, but as long as it doesn't irritate your skin, can be nice for water activities. That being said, an aftermarket strap is really the way to go with this watch. It punches WAY above it's price range. Another thing that you didn't mention is that (at least on mine, and all of the copies I've seen) the second hand hits all of the indices on the dial with perfect precision. I'm still on the same battery and have done everything in this watch, swimming, outdoor activities, plus I run professional kitchens for a living. In addition, a quartz movement is perfect for this watch. The watch is so inexpensive, that you will find yourself wearing it everywhere, camping/hiking, outdoors "stuff" and because it has a rotating bezel, can be used as a compass as well. (given you have a clear view of the sun) Quartz keeps perfect time. You'll always have the correct time, reliably on your wrist.

I will be addressing my keys/ work badge next. Also working on non-edc tool kit to store in my vertx Gamut and use at work (engineering)... Many tools works better than multitools for me. I want to see how the micarta elementum wears for you

I am kind of surprised i haven't seen you carry a Leatherman Style CS yet. With your love of the tools you mention on the tiny swiss army knives, you would get way better scissors, similar file/ flat head, and a better knife than the tiny swiss army ones. I replaced the tweezers with a modified swiss army toothpick and added a silver gripper next to my Roryvon A5. Best of all worlds, for me.

Hi, well I'll start off by saying I live in the UK so I am limited to what I can carry, the knife I carry is a spiderco bug the grasshopper, my torch (or should I say flashlight) I carry is the olight s1mini BATON, I also carry a mini flashlight on my keys the ledlenser k1, I also carry my spiderco on my keys along with 2 silver ounce ingots as keyrings obviously along with my house key and car key, I carry a black leather wallet, I'd prefer a brown leather wallet as i think they age better but the black one was a gift from my wife, and sometimes i carry my swiss army knife, the Ranger, my watch of choice at the moment is a Tissot racing touch, it gives me a compass along with tide times, as I live near the sea it comes in handy, mind you in the UK you cant get further than 70 miles from the sea.

I'm not a fan of the minimalist wallets. I don't like to fold my cash or have it exposed. Also they are not big enough to accommodate my CCW card. I found a nice compact bifold that holds as much as most trifolds. It gives me more flexibility while still being somewhat compact.

Great video. Love the Casio watch. I have the same one and love it. Love the Streamlight. I carry the same Olight I3T sometimes as well as the Thrunite TI5. If i carry a full sized pen it will be a true tactical pen which i carry a Maxpedition but most of the time its a Fisher Space Bullet pen. You did totally loose me on the knives. I usually carry two folders and a sometimes a fixed blade as well because i love blades and each has a dedicated purpose. These knives are WAY to small for me. I would have gotten an Ontario Rat 1 or a Cold Steel Voyager Large. One of my three knives is almost always a traditional. So a case Tribal Lock or my fav Case, the Copperlock. My typical folding knives are a Cold Steel Recon 1, Cold Steel XL Vaquero, Emerson CQC 8, Microtech Combat Troodon, Emerson Persian Folder, Cold Steel Talwar, amongst many others paired with my pistol. I have not gotten through your whole play list yet, but i would love to see what large folders you prefer? Also, you may have mentioned and i missed it, do you not carry a concealed fire arm?

I feel like Civivi is rushing Elementums now. I recently bought 2, the micarta and blue, and I've had problems with both of them, whether it be the grind or issues with the pivot screws. Both were also absolutely caked in oil and flipping the blades out was impossible. The Hooligan in snakeskin micarta has been awesome, though. It was perfect out of the box and has way better ergos than the Elementum.
