@@claesiind7437 The Yarbirds for your love, Jeff beck, Paul Carrack, Herman's Hermits, Kirsty MacColl, Too many to list here. Graham Gouldman being the main writer, I saw them at a local midlands venue around 24 years ago and they were spot on like here.

When I hear these iconic songs I admire especially the vocals. Give me the name of a rock band with 4 people who can sing like that - with so many different songlines at the same time. Very sublime, very difficult. You need to have the perfect musical ear, so to speak. And this is what they were. Real masters.

Their producer at the time, Jonathan King, refutes this claim stating that he saw the name in a dream; the band stood in front of the Hammersmith Odeon in London and the billboard read "10cc The Best Band in the World".
